Still my favorite skater. He moves with the rhythm and feel of the music. I don't understand why other skaters can't do that. I get chills watching him.
My favorite figure skater of all time. I saw him perform this in person. It was mind boggling and stunning all at the same time. The good old days of figure skating. Back when artistry was just as important as points.
He is my all time favorite. His grace and strength and the emotion with which he skated still moves me to tears. I’ll admit I ugly cried more than once because his performances and music choices were outstanding. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world!! ❤
Still beautiful after all these years. Makes me cry. I loved figure skating back then. There wasnt all this obsession over "identity". Rather, it was on the dance, the skill, the sheer artistry and athletic ability. Much more class.
I've watched FS for 30 years and this program is my #1 favorite program of all time. I end up in tears every time I watch it. The passion ... is unmatched.
Beth Pennings This was back in the day when most homes only had one TV if they were lucky, and you relished the opportunity to watch great performances like this one. I remember it well!
the performance of this at ice wars gave me chills. the stadium even had a black out in the middle of his performance. He must have overloaded those circuits.
THANK YOU!!! I remember watching that performance on tv as a young man. I couldn't for the life of me remember what show that was! Him doing this program certainly has the potential to bring the house down, including the lights!!
Hey Paul it's tab. I'm truly sorry for not being on linked in, I was being bullied and I just didn't think the app was worth it. Please know I'm so grateful and thankful for the touch you have on my life, if it hadn't been for the article you put in brio I would of never overcome my fear of hieghts. That was a stepping stone In allowing me to see that with some gentle prodding from you my big brother, and god I can achieve and conquer. Secondly I wanted to ask you for prayer. I had to withdraw from my college class, it wasn't a good fit and I didn't have the technology to compleate my homework. I will try again in the spring. I need gods guidence and the ability to be directed, and not just jump.

God I miss these days of skating. I love this performance by him.

Met him in an airport once. Thanked him for this program, specifically. Very humble man.
He is such a musical skater -- his timing is incredible. And there is no one to match his spins.

The passion and intensity is unmatched if only the new generation could learn the unmatched artistry they might be able to bring back some magic!
saw this live. We were screaming it was so damn good. I love this guy.
They don’t skate with as much passion anymore. He put it out there every time. Just a joy to watch

Right now the only one who comes close to him Paul anymore is Jason Brown, who will be a force in the figure skating world once he learns the Quad
He doesn't need the quad to be a force. He is - like Paul - an artist.
Thank you for posting this. The state of men's skating, other than Johnny Weir, could not match this.
BK Lulu I still adore Kurt and Scott.
2:41 I love this triple Axel/ waltz jump combination.
WOW!
Gorgeous job, Paul. Lets hope you dont get gypped this time.
Wowwww
