Big Bang is often inconsistent, but if the writers are on song the comedy is superbly stunning. This is my favourite sequence in the entire series, as it reveals the writing to be multi-dimensional; Parsons & Rauch exhibit verbal timing, Bialik refers to popular culture for appropriate affect; the facial expressions & timing of the taxi-driver are priceless. The crowning glory is the sublime physical timing by Parsons & Bialik; the innuendo compete with the enchantments of Cuoco make it perfect.

Wow, I just now realized that the cab driver took them to an Asian dancing club. I didn't really think twice about the Asian gentleman who asked Penny to dance, but then I looked at the other dancers ... that's pretty cool!
(No Disrespect whatsoever) The Asian driver is just lol in my opinion; the way he talks about the Austrian dancing, that Sheldon just explained to him, in his own language to someone else who speaks back to him in both his own language and English is just positively lol! I hope he was tipped well in money.
Many people say I'm very similar to Sheldon in real life. Ironically, I took those classes as well, and I can say many people are delusional about their dancing abilities and reality check. It takes years to become better at it if you're not gifted. I'm sure they're really good at it in reality, as they control their bodies so well, exaggerating some flaws.
Remarkably coordinated but there was absolutely no emotion in their moves. It would have been nice if they’d revisited this dance but with their emotional growth in the last season

I would like to add to my previous comment that the dance sequence should have been longer: We did not see them waltz we saw an adorably comical take on the cha-cha-cha. I would have loved to see Sheldon & Amy attempt the dance of seduction, ie tango or the flamenco; Sheldon could have danced with a rose between his teeth; both scenarios would have been timeless.
