We lost most of our house in Hurricane Ian and almost 2 years later we're finally finishing up repairs!😵💫 I've also been dealing with some health issues, and honestly, it's all been a lot.😰
I had some content filmed before the hurricane and I've been posting some short videos for anything that's still relevant. I'm actually planning to post a short video this weekend!👏

@@Mariakayc Your long curly hair is beautiful! I've tried SO many times to grow mine that long but it never seems to work out. Having thinning hair myself, I can really empathize.😰 However, I have noticed that my hair looks a little thicker when it's shorter. Best of luck with your haircut...would love to see it!

I recently evacuated for Hurricane Ian and I liked this WnW foundation so much it made it into my "Hurricane bag," which was a MUCH smaller version of all my makeup.😜

People keep saying " foundation" & it's not !! It's a tinted moisturizer ,but with more coverage like a foundation. But,over all a very good review !! 👍👏 I am 56 ,almost 57 ( this month ! ) & my skin is oily( used to be super oily ) ,but more towards combination skin these days because of aging ! I guess !! Lol. I've been watching RUclips makeup videos for three years now (obsessively, sometimes!) after I rediscovered the joy of makeup. I have never left a comment before but I have to now because I'm so glad I found your channel! I'm 51 with a pretty ordinary amount of wrinkles for my age, super dry skin and fine, very curly (2c/3a) hair. I enjoy all the young RUclipsrs but I can't always relate when they talk about their "fine lines" (Lines? What lines?! You're 30 years old, I always think. And many of the super successful 45+ RUclipsrs have gotten less lined and textured they longer they've had their channel (for a variety of reasons, I'm sure, and I'm not knocking any of them.) Anyway I've heard great things about this WNW product and I'm looking forward to trying it and also to whatever new content you decide to post. It's so cool you started a channel later in life.

I also discovered the RUclips mature beauty community about 3 years ago. Didn't know there was such a thing and that's what sparked my renewed interest in makeup and skincare. However, just like you, I love all the Young youtubers but can't relate when they show things like foundation and concealer, because when you're over 50 that's a whole new ballgame!😲 Fine lines? Who the, what the??🤣 Know what you mean! Anyway, I hope you like the WnW foundation. I like it so much that it actually made it into my hurricane kit and I only took ONE of everything. I'm here to tell you that whittling my makeup down to just the necessities was tricky but really showed me what my favorites are. Maybe, I'll do a video about it..."what's in my Hurricane bag?"😂

I went on vacation recently out of the country and FORCED myself to pack light. The one (!) foundation I chose was the new Nars light reflecting foundation...it's truly gorgeous. I splurged on it but it's worth every penny. Anyway thanks for your response and I hope you and yours made it through the hurricane safe and unscathed. XO

I’m 55 and ❤love it. I use moisturizer and primer . My skin is dry too , but I’m happy with this product and can not beat the price .

What primer do you use?
Hello, it looks like you were asking someone else this question but in the meantime, I wanted to let you know that the primer I've been using the most is ELF putty primer (original). It feels more hydrating for my dry skin and has worked well with every foundation I've tried it with. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your detailed review I enjoyed it! I bought this hydrator and another WnW foundation Dewy finish for my 63 year old skin. I've taken very good care of my skin have good genetics dress young dye my hair so I don't appear 63. 🙃 I really like this hydrator sent a pic out to a few friends and they all said I looked rested and GREAT! I have a Loreal Age perfect skin tint, a Clinique one and I think this one is the best!

You were smart to take good care of your skin...that makes SUCH a difference! I been noticing that I reach for this tinted hydrator a lot. I like how it doesn't feel like makeup. Was the Photo focus dewy the other WnW foundation that you tried? I've been wanting to try that but didn't like the original...too matte & dry and smells like paint!😜 Did you like the dewy one?

You’re the ONLY person on RUclips reviewing that’s actually “older,” and not 40 thinking they’re older. And you address ALL the issues of older skin. Thank you! Bottom line, it seems for very dry, older skin, you have to use a moisturizer under the tinted moisturizer. Bummer. One and done used to be the way to go for me, too. And thank you for addressing those wrinkles! This was a fantastic review. And yes, the shade you used was a little too light for you. A better color match would have looked really good. Thank you!!!
Hi Dawn, thank you so much! I love this comment!!😍 I appreciate that you "got" what I was trying to say about wrinkles. For me, at 59, it's just easier to try to make them look better than to try to hide them. It is a shame that this tinted hydrator wasn't more of a one and done for me but honestly with my desert dry skin, I expect to use a moisturizer most of time. Either way, I really hope Wet n Wild keeps this around for a while, it's one of my favorites!

@@MyBeauty2Cents Yes, a one-and-one has been my wish and I gave it up and accepted these days I have to add a moisturizer to a tinted moisturizer. But, on the plus side, there is at least a solution to very dry skin 😊

Because of some unexpected health issues and now rebuilding from Hurricane Ian, I've had to take a little break from my channel but I AM planning to come back. Would this be ok for sensitive skin. I'm 62 and I notice when I wear foundation it doesn't look good. Dries in patches
Hi Christine😀 It's hard to say for sure because sensitive skin can be so different for so many people. I have somewhat sensitive skin myself, mostly to strong fragrance in products and this Tinted hydrator is one of my more comfortable (skin like/minimal scent) foundations. However, I broke out in a red swollen rash from the cushion foundation that WnW put out awhile back (even did a video about it) even though it seemed that everyone except me was loving that cushion foundation.😵 It smelled like a bottle of perfume and I believe that's why I, in particular, had a reaction.
If you do try this WnW tinted hydrator, please let me know if you had a reaction. Hope not!🤞
As for the dry patches...Not sure what type of skin you have but mine is super dry and I have that foundation "dry patches" problem myself, whenever I don't wear a primer. Primer just seems to smooth it all out and make for an even foundation coverage. However in your case, you may want to look for a primer that says it's for sensitive skin. If I hear about a good one, I'll definitely let you know!
