  • Will it ever stop? England and the wettest October 2023 through to April 2024. Is it climate change? Or just plane trails. Or has someone engineered cloud seeding.

Same here in the Midlands Al, storm after storm since October. Weekend was dreadful, raining this morning and tomorrow's forecast is 40mph winds and heavy rain all day. Goes without saying it will be hosepipe bans come may 😅. Retired last year and you take notice of forecasts alot more now, gardening, walking and wanting to get out more etc.

This weather is not normal or natural.
It isn't just the UK but most of Europe, even Spain. It is also affecting the normally sunny parts of America, even Florida is suffering with this abnormal weather of blanket grey cloudy skies and near-constant rain. It is created by planes crisscrossing the skies spraying a cocktail of particles in the upper atmosphere to block out the sun.
Additionally, all this rain has completely waterlogged the ground causing crops such as potatoes and winter wheat to rot in the ground and preventing the sowing of new crops. Even earthworms are drowning. This will create food shortages. And It's all by design.

Yes it’s depressing. Not ridden my motorcycle once in 2024. My next fear is the food crops. When I walk the dog, everywhere is waterlogged not just wet. Never known it. The fields are full of water where the water table can’t drain, the result will be rotting root crops

When we have unsettled weather in the U.K. that sometimes last for a while before we see brighter spells, I must admit when it seems relentless and keeps chucking down I do feel a deep sadness at times which is a lot to do with depression. And also anxiety when I start worrying about roof leaks or whether I have cleaned my gutters or not. But there are times as well when it’s light rain that doesn’t last for long periods that is almost like listening to meditation sounds that calm the mind and reduce the stresses of life. ✨ 🌧️

It does seem to me that we had colder winters in the past with snow that used to hang around for a while. How much of the change is due to human activity and how much to natural planetary cycles, who really knows? Plenty of boffins arguing it out on both sides.

It might surprise a few people, but rain can be man made.
"Cloud seeding" using dry ice above clouds has been happening in the UK since 1952.
You'll notice the prevailing winds have been south westerly in origin (mainly) for 5 months.
Cloud seeding at sea can make it rain on land.
I'm not saying this is the reason for it raining far more than usual. I'm just saying it's a definite possibility & a thoroughly miserable experience.
