Lived in SLC, 1993-1996. Salty Peaks moved to the bigger location from the tiny one on the corner. I remember George Johnston and Jason Brown worked at Milo Sport next door. I used to see Andy Wolf and Dave Downing at Brighton. They were nice, I remember. JP Walker was a high school kid who does sick bs 540.
One day after boarding at Brighton, I stopped by Milo Sport and run into Jason Brown. He said he just filmed with Jamie Lynn at Snowbird. And later I found out that became the end part of RPM, with a song by Supersuckers, I think, if my old memory is right.
I'm turning 51 this year. Life is too short, but my good old memories always shine.
This made me cry , for a couple reasons. I'm old enough to remember all this happening and lived in a suburb of SLC. And because I'm this damn old🤣🤣 loved hearing it all from the inside. Been boarding since the mid 80s. Thanks to You who paved the way.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hells yeah started boarding also late 80s it was sick back then
Best Snowboarding series EVAH.
So awesome..I was there..Rode with Andy at Brighton..Was there the day they finally let us ride on the chairs at Brighton..So mannnny good memories..Was the best scene ever..90's were awesome yrs riding..We were hiking Alta before the riding was allowed on chairlifts..Warped my first board out of particle board.Laminated it.Mounted some custom bindings to it from some ski boots I fabricated..Was fun.But way squirly..Its come so far..Awesome days..
I started riding in the 90s. These names and parts are legendary. This series is awesome.
Season pass at Brighton 2001-2010. The nostalgia I feel from this series is beyond.
This brings back so many good memories! Can't wait to see the rest of the series.
I've never ridden with anyone better or more innovative than Andy Brewer. He was on another planet.
Chads Gap was one of my first introduction to backcountry in a movie.
remember them old local days here in Vassfjellet, in Trondheim, Norway as well. remember riding with Torgeir and sometimes Torstein when they were young.
them long days, building big jump by hand, some rails and Nitro and Burton was the shit!
i really loved watching this, real nostalgia! love from Norway, keep riding!
@boredprogression brought me here, thanks!
Jason Brown and George Johnston used to work at Milo Sport. There are some Burton guys at Salty Peaks, too. Good old days.
I remember Hans Mindnich from a RedBull snowcamp video back in like 2010
God, I wish I could just drive up to Brighton on a pow day without having to get up at 6am to beat the crowds. Damn tourists everywhere now.
For sure back in our day it was just sick no crowds at all so many people last weekend it was ridiculous
True true but still the tourists suck lol

@CHARLES CURTIS i read on ksl that someone tried to grab a cops gun cause they got turned around from the lot.
Can't find a fucking house in the valley below a quarter million.
Everyday is a POW day this season 😂
Only thing I think you missed is the legendary Mexican restaurant just west of milo sport and salty peaks called hector's (formerly known as molca salsa) it was THE place to eat after a long day shredding and was conveniently located between the mouth of big cottonwood canyon and parleys canyon. Other than that this series was phenomenal. I would like to know if it's possible to obtain a digital copy?
Hey, can you please provide a track list? the songs are awesome!
Other than the fellow speaking the name of Jesus as an emphatic curse at 1:00, that was an interesting flick man.
