Other Story changes in lego games:
    - Lego Indiana Jones: The evil cult leader from Temple of Doom using the statue he worships as a mech.
    - Lego pirates of the Caribbean: Pirates getting pelted by tomatoes instead of being hanged in At worlds end.
    - Lego Star Wars the Skywalker saga: Han Solo taking a soldier with him to find Luke Skywalker on Hoth.

The destruction of Alderaan was shown in "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga" but only as debris in the cutscene after completing the "Hunk of Junk" level.

I was gonna point this out too. They could have given us a perspective of the Death Star destroying Alderaan instead of what they did, but at least they did include Alderaan's destruction.

The way LEGO Incredibles 2 ended still peeves me. While there is something ironic about watching a movie after defeating Screenslaver, it's still weird to see how she would've been able to pull off a trick after getting captured, and that means the theives from the original movie's ending are on the loose, and that may have the government worried if making superheroes legal again was the right call or not...

The only reason Mr. Incredible escaped in the movie is because he was able to open a door with his bare hands into a room with an RV and rocket. Then Mirage gave him access to the computer inside the rocker. Now maybe GazerBeam can open that same door with his laser vision but I don't think that will work if he's trying to access the computer without a password.

Other changes to source materials in both "Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures" and "Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues" was there were a few times Indy was given a companion he didn't have at a certain point in the movies, or gave him a companion that never appeared in any of the movies. There was also another showdown that wasn't mentioned in this video in "Lego Indiana Jones 2," which occurred during the scene in Berlin where Indy was trying to get his father's grail diary back. "Lego Indiana Jones 2" also shows Elsa Schneider get a character redemption arc, even though in the movie, she died by falling to her death while trying to grab the grail, and "Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures" depicts Elsa's fate in the movie accurately. A couple of things "Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures" changed was having Major Toht burn his butt on the medallion instead of it burning his hand, and not showing Mola Ram take out the man's heart, the man who got put into the cage before being lowered into a lava pit. I see how not showing Mola Ram taking out the man's heart was very dark, but the game showed the man get a tan after being lowered into the lava pit instead of getting killed.
"Lego Jurassic World" also shows some characters surviving, even though in the movies, they got killed. The only character that the games shows survives that actually did survive in the movies was Billy Brennan.

I’m really surprised this change hasn’t been mentioned yet but in Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, the level where you fight General Grievous with Obi-Wan Kenobi player two controls Commander Cody. In the end cutscene of the level General Grievous kills Commander Cody before Obi-Wan kills General Grievous. This definitely did not happen in the movie.

To be fair, Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures on SNES did something similar with Donovan. Where he turned into a super powered skeleton that served as the final boss.
More than any other Lego game series, Indiana Jones is at the greatest disadvantage from a gameplay standpoint. Since even when Indy did fight his villains directly, they were just... guys. Hence why in the first game all the bosses amounted to just punching up a slightly tougher than average but still very average enemy. So, I can appreciate a desire to switch things up for the sequel. It just feels like there were... subtler ways of making the bosses better.

In a way Alderaan IS in Skywalker Saga in that you can go to where it SHOULD be but instead it's empty space. Pretty sure there's still the typical items of a Kyber comet and maybe some enemies to take out.

Who the fuck cares about changes in Lego games, there Lego games, the main purpose of them is to be light hearted and fun to play and it just awesome that they all are based on movies, Who cares if they have to change a couple minor things from the movie franchises there based on, it doesn't affect the games or the loose telling's of the stories, and also a couple more things, don't you dare call Incredibles 2 mediocre, its fantastic just like the first movie, Radagast the brown was in the lord of the rings books as he was in the flashback with Gandalf in FOTR. and the destruction of alderaan was shown in LSWTSS just not as a cutscene
