I have had GA since I was a child which is connected to Autoimmune disease. Thank you! Yes, had very very serious case of mono at age 13, in hospital in isolation for a week, lost year of school but recovered eventually, then chronic appendicitis at 17 which is also related to EBV then at 31 caught a viral infection that never left. Now 41 years later still suffering with ME/CFS though if I keep inside my 'envelope' of activity - physical and mental - I can stay at a livable plateau though my activities stop around noon. Mostly homebound.

Just keep taking extra Zinc or even better Colloidal silver. It's the best anti-viral. So far they talk about diagnosis, but nobody knows how to cure.

@@Babitski I got EBV when I was 28, I’m 42 now. It put me in the hospital I was soo sick. Fast forward I recovered but ever since then, anytime I get sick or any infection it wipes me out for a ridiculous long time. And my blood work always shows EBV affects my levels. Throws my whole system off, it’s like my immune system was never the same after. It’s pretty fuckin annoying because I do finally bounce back and have a good month or two, but just when I’m back in shape and feeling great, 💥 EBV takes me down. Nothing doctors can do either

I have the EBV from hell and it’s caused my very young child to experience autoimmunity. I’m currently wondering how to go about getting her diagnosed as I suspect an enlarged spleen. I also know she’s been diagnosed with hashimotos at the age of 4 along with a Crohn’s diagnosis. I actually believe that was a mast cell activation and an H.pylori that we managed to get under control after horrific situations with biologics. Shes 8 now complaining of left sided sharp pains that refer into her shoulder. Ugh this medical system is hell to deal with!!!!

At 14 I was diagnosed with Epstein bar spent a year in and out of the hospital. I had so many different symptoms that they were tested me for everything it was 1986 there was no test for Epstein bar at that time just a mono test and because they did all the test they finally agreed that it was Epstein-Barr. My father has MS and my general doctor will not send me to a neurosurgeon even though I’m exhibiting signs of loss of balance, tingling sensations in my feet, and my legs and feet both swell and chronic for teak and heat sensitivity. I’m mostly concerned because I did have brain lesions on my brain at 14.
