Why they don't have shows like this on tv now for our generation of kids. Little house teaches such beautiful morals and beautiful family values !! We don't have shows like this anymore, and I think that is what is wrong with today. Everything on tv now-a-days teaches us all about money, cheating, and showing off ( of the body ) AGAIN this is why we have so much hardships !! I wish to go back to a time when everything seemed so pure and though hard, but beautiful at the same time.

Myself being of this generation, now in my late teens, I've stumbled upon a few older shows that really have made an impact on me in the short time I've watched them. Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie are the two that most stick out to me and to see the morals, loyalty, and family portrayed in these shows makes me wish that my generation had similar values shared in shows. :]

It's what you call a gradual loss of values throughout the years. And women started to work instead of being stay at home moms maybe because both people had (have) to work just to make ends meet. That meant children not being attended to as well as they could of been and the trend of latch key kids. It makes for a scarier world - don't you think? I'm sure crime levels have increased also.

I always thought Albert and Laura more of a romantic chemistry even as the series went on to the end. I knew she was going to end up married to Almanzo, since I read the books in the 4/5th grade. But Dean and Melissa chemistry just seemed friend only.
