I’d rate it high 8 or 9 out of ten. All the trail centres I’ve ridden in the uk excluding uplift centre like bpw. I’d say it is in 3rd place behind coed y brenin and Whinlatter for me
Great video mate, looking forward visiting Hamsterley for the first time this weekend. Would be super helpful if you put the name of each trail on your video (where a name is given) to help newbies cross reference against Trailforks for an idea of what I can find where! That way I know where I want to ride according to how the trails look! Did you do the full loop of the forest here? Were any of these trails a part of the Descend Bike Park?
Glad you enjoyed it. I never do an official lap of hamsterley as it’s not very good. I just do the best bits and take the short cuts through the forest to get to them. 90% of the red loop is fire road!! None of the video is at the descend park. I’ve never actually done that part. If you have a garmin it might be a good idea to download my route from this ride from Strava so you find your way around with no problems and maximise your day 😁
That's what I figured, only want to do the best bits and skip the fire road slogs where possible. I've got the route from Strava now so will look to do something similar probably. Do you use Instagram too?
That's cool, look me up under the same name as here, I'd be keen to find out where you're based and maybe go for a ride some time! I'm only recently back in the UK so still looking for the best trails and adventures 👍🏻
Singletrack Scotland most of it is like a normal trail centre. But there is a small section that is Danny harts descend park. Which is uplift. Never done that part as it’s abit to gnarly for me 😂
James Stoup 😂😂 looks completely out of control. But it works for him. I’m surprised he doesn’t slip out with all his weight been on the inside of the corner
lance bellingham 😂😂 this was the 1st time I’d ridden with him. Completely out of control on every corner. Off to morzine with him in July. That should be ermmm. Interesting 😂😂

Eckythump it’s always good fun riding the trails at Hamsterley 😁. And thanks. I love my wheels 🤙👊🤙
Trail-Finder I will have to look at your Strava for the trails you did between Pikes Teeth & Route 66, need to give them a go👍🏼
If you watch my other Hamsterley video it shows the off piste stuff at the Danny hart side as well. You can link to the Strava page from there also

20:12 for about 30 secs, are you even touching the brakes or just full pelt?
Was on the brakes ever so slightly. Pretty steep is that section.
