Stories like this really makes me wish someone would make a 4-5 part series of 'Meeting Michael Jackson' from family, industry people, ladies, to families and hospitals. I just want to hear everyone's memories about him. Stuff like this has to be a book 😂

Underrated?! You must be a millennial...that album was a BOMB back in the day...and it could've been better had they changed some singles choices..."She Drives Me Wild" for instance should've been released as a single with video and heavily promoted at least in the US...

imrko never. I miss Mike so much. I remember him speaking at James Browns funeral. N they he spoke him, I was like “Wow! That’s how my generation thinks about Michael. The Greatest. The King. Three years later, we said goodbye to our hero.” For me, I was born in 83. My first musical memory is Michael. And being in front of the tv, trying to dance like him. Sing like him. He was my super hero... Superman. And then little did I know that I really wanted to be Janet! Lol!!! Michael and Janet, my Superman and Wonder Woman. He-man and SheRa. Michael was just that to me. I miss him so much. I’m so glad Janet has taken his torch and has chosen to carry his, and carry hers as well. She is the proud little sister, keeping her big brothers legacy alive by doing what she does best. I love Janet, the living Icon.

i knew MJ was a REAL dude when i heard the track THEY DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT US
THAT song made me realize he was at heart a socially concious dude a child of the sixties and seventies who did not forget about his people
also when he bought those Beatles tracts right from under a LIVING Beatle PAUL M cCARTNEY i said to myself that it was such a cold blooded GANGSTER move one id never expected he would do but it was business!!
it was then i said this guy aint the fool the press tries to convince us he is

You better believe. I think he had major issues with Tommy Motolla. Although, I think he was a fair music executive; yet, I believe Michael had issues with him exploiting black artists. I think Michael saw him as being apart of the problem, systematically. I could only imagine what Michael were to think now of the music industry.

I've seen many interviews about Michael, of his co-workers, friends, of people admiring him, remembering him, speaking well, but this is probably THE warmest and nicest one I've ever seen! There is so much genuine emotion, respect and friendship here from Teddy, just warmed my heart. When he said he didn't take pictures because he didn't want to make Michael feel uncomfortable just proved his genuine friendship and respect.

"He would always call me in his hot ass room..."
    Lmao!
It's amazing how people who knew him on a personal level all have wonderful things to say about him. It's so sad how the so much of the world chooses to believe the slanderous things that people said in an attempt to profit off of him.
I wish I could've known Michael. He seemed like such an amazing person.

+Milessa Grisset I totally agree with you here with everything you said. People seem to always have contempt for something prior to actually investigating it. People are usually dumb and very closed minded and will believe something at face value without actually doing some critical thinking. That's why so many dumb people blindly followed evil men in the Catholic church for so many centuries, they just did what they were told. That maybe was a bad example I used but I feel you what you are saying.

@Titanin1984 He's doing it with affection and it's kind of cute. With all due respect, some of you Michael fans are way over-the-top when it comes to your view of him, like he was a super-human God who must be worshipped. He was a human being like everyone else with flaws, who happened to be super talented. Get a grip.

It makes no sense but I find these stories of Teddy Riley and Michael Jackson inspirational. Despite everything they were grounded in reality and if they can do it anyone can. I love listening to this guy almost as much as MJ's music. Thanks for that...

I believe mike is alive and well. The crazy system he was under gave him nothing but hell on earth.they robbed, disrespected, used, and abused this man merciless. They threw him in jail for shit he didn't do. Just so these fools can line their pockets.they knew mike had a good genuine heart and took advantage with no end. My opinion they would have bankrupted this man , and put him in the ground for sure.he is alive, leave him alone to finally have the life he surely deserve.

hands down, one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
I was photographing his show in Sydney last year. Waited around after the show to give him some prints of Roy Ayers.
He was busy signing autographs. I just waited quietly on the sidelines. After he was done, his bodyguards started whisking him away.
I stepped to him and tapped his arm as he was walking away. Motherfcuker stops, made his bodyguards stop and we stood and spoke for a minute. Huge smile on his face. I said "TR. I don't ask for autographs or selfies. I just wanted to give you these. I was Roy Ayers's photographer in April. I got my details on the back. Just don't forget me". Cat draws me close, shakes my hand and says, "I won't. I'm not going to forget you". He didn't need to talk to me. He didn't to say shit. To this day, the nicest guy I had the honour of photographing.

Teddy Riley is without question the best producer in the world! He made so many artists. "My Prerogative" "New Jack Swing" is a genre made by Teddy. The Music from that genre is timeless party music. "Dangerous" is my all time favorite Michael Jackson album. If you haven't heard Guy's or Blackstreet's albums you are missing out on beautiful, classic 90's R&B.

*kevjev. MJ was a mastermind behind all of his music. Teddy, together with all other, was there to create what MJ had in his vision. But MJ was a mastermind. Prince is ok but there are many reasons why MJ broke all the records and Prince didnt... It seems Prince acctualy needed people as much as Michael did but he decided to be alone in his path. Its ok, but not enough to be the greatest. There are now many books about MJ and his involvment in studio production "Man in the music" is great, read it and learn.
