Maybe just worth getting FMJ for the sniper in your loadout if you happen to know that final circles are in a wooded area.
I use it on the sniper. I've gotten so many picks on people in those attics with a window on each side. Theres no cover up in those attics and you can just span through the wall. If you knock someone it's easy to thirst them through the wall too.
I actually searched does fmj on hdr hits through tree cause I was really done people hiding behind trees when I downed them and this video happened. Thanks for good info my dude. I will use fmj on my hdr cause I've one spare attachment slot on my hdr.
My thoughts exacly. Peak, gets shot, hide, still gets shot, panic, trys to run. It's a good twist to get people. It would also cancel their healing/using shields
I think your really underestimating the situational advantages. I use fmj on preety much everything. There’s a bunch of ways I’ve found it helpful... 1. If I’m engaging in a gun fight and I shoot someone who manages to get behind cover or around a corner before I can land more than a quarter magazine, I’m in the habit of continuing to track and shoot as they round the corner or cover. And I often score a knock down with those final few bullets. 2. If I’m rushing a group of enemies in a tight space or around a corner or doorway, I’ll often be presented with opportunities to rip through multiple people with the same bullets.. 3. Most campers are hiding in corners of buildings behind a wall like the brick one you tested... using UAV or heartbeat I often unload clips into corners and drop em. 4. Vehicles: with the exception of the truck the vehicles can be destroyed with one entire 50 round assault rifle clip with FMJ, I can usually take a vehicle out by myself or only have to dodge and reload once.. 5. Walls that can be penetrated with normal bullets as well as FMJ. Like doors. See a noticeable difference in normal to FMJ damage at range. You only tested close quarters. I’m sure there’s more that I can’t think of right now. But there’s a few to consider. And I should clarify that most of the advantages I’m talking are for warzone
Frangible Disabling really needs some testing done in Warzone, it's impossible to see how effective it is without getting a friend on the enemy team like this. :(
One thing I noticed with FMJ is that it seems to do more damage THROUGH an enemy player to another BEHIND the first. So basically the first player doesn’t become a bullet sponge and you can easily down the unfortunate squad that lines up in a door, stairwell or hallway. Haven’t tested this but I’ve experienced it many times.
I eventually started running FMJ on my HDR since I didn't have focus/presence of mind unlocked and really started to like it. I used it to finish people I would down in buildings/houses, down one in the attic of house but don't want to push? Finish the kill with a wallbang from the FMJ HDR.
I love hardcore as well, however I think warzone is perfect. It gives you enough time to react to getting blindsided, whereas if it were hardcore you would die within 3 shots. I think there should definitely be hardcore groundwar though
I find FMJ really helpful, especially when enemies are running away to cover. Jack mentions it is more situational but I actually found myself in a lot of those wall banging situations in a lot of fights. There are definitely better perks but fmj is very useful.

JM nobody’s telling you to use it. We’re just speculating on what the benefits would be
I use it on the sniper. I've gotten so many picks on people in those attics with a window on each side. Theres no cover up in those attics and you can just span through the wall. If you knock someone it's easy to thirst them through the wall too.
- Did you score last night?
- Nuthin' no penetration
I edited my comment so nobody will know why I got so many likes.
For real.
Literally the worst place to put it
shitty mobile youtube bro
its one move against the community after another with them
Thank you shit is stupid
I actually searched does fmj on hdr hits through tree cause I was really done people hiding behind trees when I downed them and this video happened. Thanks for good info my dude. I will use fmj on my hdr cause I've one spare attachment slot on my hdr.
Use the focus perk, its one of the few weapons its worth using a perk on and its very good for sniping.
For Controller players who dont have a scuf i would rather use fmj on my hdr
@EN3ERP4O i was serious lol i have got a normal one
This guy should be given a medal , now i got one more slot for a better attachment .
13:22 So that Tier 90 battle bass Mara skin has better damage resistance then, alright, good to hear
👍😎
SMH pay2win games
Nathaniel didnt get the joke lol
@@ImSteveSwish he is saying that mara is thicc.
even tho it doesn’t do a whole lotta damage. It would still scare them into moving out of cover and open up more shots.
My thoughts exacly. Peak, gets shot, hide, still gets shot, panic, trys to run. It's a good twist to get people. It would also cancel their healing/using shields
W
Yep. Is pretty useful. Would help if you tag them too and your whole team can kill them when they leave cover.
This would be very good for endgame in forest areas, can scare people into leaving cover
The PineApple that. Or put and air strike on them and shoot em while they scatter 🤠
I think your really underestimating the situational advantages.
I use fmj on preety much everything.
There’s a bunch of ways I’ve found it helpful...
1. If I’m engaging in a gun fight and I shoot someone who manages to get behind cover or around a corner before I can land more than a quarter magazine,
I’m in the habit of continuing to track and shoot as they round the corner or cover.
Great vid!!
I appreciate how long this all probably took 👏🏽
Although I didn’t need the first part ( the damage) I didn’t know that fmj could go through a brick wall so this video was quite useful regardless
cant believe ppl still dont know this, this has been the same since mw2 lmao
Since cod 4 as well
I’m a new player, didn’t know anything regarding COD like a month ago lol
Did u think that maybe ppl don’t know because they’re new to CoD?
@@gungus7037 Unless they're illiterate, they don't have an excuse because the game literally tells you what fmj does.
THESTFUPRODUCTION but it increases the bar which people will obviously pay more attention to
Hey Jack... maybe the next "straighten the record" should be on Fragiable Perk. Just saying. Love your content.
He listened lets go
9:30 now this makes no sense that's a deciduous tree and by the looks of it a hard wood the other was Coniferous and a softwood
If you actually play the game you will see it makes no difference.
EDIT; The only thing the game has into account is thickness and material
Nobody cares what type of wood it is
@@James-ng6nl I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to tell me that you don't care and it has no effect on you.

@@James-ng6nl not all cod players are uneducated. sorry
Dude, i've been wondering about this forever! Good stuff, Keep'em coming😊👌👌👌💕
I eventually started running FMJ on my HDR since I didn't have focus/presence of mind unlocked and really started to like it. I used it to finish people I would down in buildings/houses, down one in the attic of house but don't want to push? Finish the kill with a wallbang from the FMJ HDR.
FMJ on my LMG and floorbang folks in attics for lolz
I would love to see more side by side comparisons with more attachments! Thank you for the great testing!
If you start hitting people behind cover, most the time they will flee.
Thanks for this, been wasting FMJ on all of my loadouts, that's definitely going to change.
I like the work you put into this video. You deserve a like 👍
Battlefield 5 title: RTX ON/OFF
Warzone title: FMJ ON/OFF
Lol and smh to people who have those fmj thoughts. I remember those fmj talks during mw2
Co4 also
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain in detail how this works. Its a big help
This is why i've always loved Hardcore mode, and wish they would make this an option in Warzone!
I love hardcore as well, however I think warzone is perfect. It gives you enough time to react to getting blindsided, whereas if it were hardcore you would die within 3 shots. I think there should definitely be hardcore groundwar though
jack: ok here is Andrew again
Andrew: oh shit here we go again
EXTREMELY informative. Thank you for the break down. And cheers to Andrew for being the meat sack target.
I find FMJ really helpful, especially when enemies are running away to cover. Jack mentions it is more situational but I actually found myself in a lot of those wall banging situations in a lot of fights. There are definitely better perks but fmj is very useful.
I really like it on SMGs because they can't shoot through shit without it and usually don't need -recoil attachments.
Andrew low key reverse boosting for bot lobby’s
Too many people think FMJ is like stopping power from MW2, great video!
*Give the RAM-7 a try!*
Jack, huge fan of your channel. I love your attitude, yet when it comes to competition you own. I know you always love to improve your gameplay, therefore, I suggest you try the RAM-7. I never use the M4 since I discovered the RAM-7. I can challenge and win against snipers. It’s great all-around: close, Medium, and yes.. long range. I’ll list my setup below.
Monolithic Suppressor
Commando Foregrip
50 Round Mag
Stippled Grip Tape
FSS Ranger Barrel
Personally, the iron sights are great on this weapon as you have a green night bar to help you track your enemies. Just trying to return the favor of the great content and tips you’ve provided me over the years.
the barrel is the key to ram 7
Liam Christian - Exactly! It makes it basically recoilless & the Damage Range is LOVELY
*_@jackfrags, you forgot to mention "target penetration" (shooting 2 or more players at once, works bananas! in multiplayer/CQB), good video nonetheless_*
*_When players line up one behind another you can shoot all of them with the same bullet and therefore improving your TTK an all targets_*
Andrew is such an mvp for compromising that kd for you.... and the gulags, better pay this man
im just sitting here watching this vid with my expired haircut
We need realism/hardcore mode in warzone
Shane Maguire Night mode 👀
@@AstroBrindan I think that'd be super interesting!
That's what makes me more likely to get sick of it it's so so unrealistic six head shots come on wow
@@mitchellfranzel7826 I agree. Sometimes CoD just feels more like Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers playing airsoft simulator. Super fun game, but doesn't convey how lethal firearms really are. Six head shots? That's probably why I'm good in hardcore, but complete trash in normal modes. I miss realism ground war.
@Rolf Harris There is a gameode called realism
This guy really went out to just set the record straight thank you for all your and Andrew’s efforts
Thank you for this youve literally changed up a couple of my loadouts bc of this
And still time to kill in this game is faster than any other shooter ever .. its crazy
@@demonhandz821 certainly not in warzone
Damn it. I have FMJ on every weapon. Thanks for this. Time to change some things.
Shoulda done some research ahead of time, chief
@@czproductions Yeah! Will do from now on.
Great video, I like this type of video a lot. Its always great to learn more about how the game works
I just lost a few brain cells hearing that people *still* think FMJ increases base damage...
dan sham x little timmies on cod fb groups actually call me an idiot for saying IT DOESNT WORK
They swear by it
I bet they started playing cod this year only
Andrew be like: Reverse boosting? I’m down
great video! many scenarios showcased and accurate description of results. this is the kind of cod videos i like to watch. also, big thanks to Andrew for being the test subject.
The fact the HDR has a “armour piercing round” should give the HDR FMJ stock
you'r right !! they say it's AP ROUND so don't need a all FMJ !!! at base of the "FMJ" they make a big mistake, FMJ mean FULL METAL JACKET so that's the common pointy round you see everywere and not a all ARMOR PIERCING or AP ROUND, so if you want penetration that mean you need ARMOR PIERCING and not at all "FMJ" -_-' so this so called "most realistic game" as they say is just bullshiting again and that a small exemple, their is so much mistake like that in this game -_-'
@@hawktrust8596 they only say that in the campaign which the HDR in the campaign is also 338 Lapua not 12.7mm like in multiplayer
@@andrewmoore7022 yes i know they mistake themselve and not even realise it -_-'
Andrew Moore yeah cuz hadir modified it
12.7x108mm anti material that’s a silver tip round and when you shoot a silver tip round the metal from the AP doesn’t deform like a lead bullet
If FMJ goes through even brick wall, wouldn’t that make it extremely useful, especially on LMG’s? If someone is camping behind a wall you can just spray that wall to down him. Or when you shoot someone through a window you can finish that guy off by shooting through the wall.
