Have been using black widow and rv for many years. Best drawers on the market apart from the lock strikers which break repeatedly. Rv factory in new gisborne. Not in Melbourne! Cheers. Its essential to red loctite all the bolts and fitting etc. They vibrate loose unless red loctite is used. Great video. Cheers
Great video. Me and Dad use an old set of Black widow drawers we got from a mate second hand. Cleaned them up and they work great. Just have to build a wing kit for them to fit our old Prado.
I've had the Black Widow system in the rear of my Prado for years and can vouch for the quality of this company's gear and good on them for getting back into the market. 👍
Appreciate the honesty regarding the supply of the drawers - to put it in the first 30 seconds and not hide it in the comments is refreshing and I subscribed as a result. Seems a few other 4wd youtubers are forgetting their humble beginnings and glossing over this important factor when discussing other products. They could relearn a thing or two by watching your vids.
Thanks for the sub mate 🙂 it's one of the first things I think about when it comes to product sponsorship, can I actually back it? And can I do it without looking like a total sellout? Everyone else just grabs anything thrown their way and tries to lie to everyone watching
Man those drawers are sweet. I get what you say about buying aus. Your stuff looks so well made and thought out - over in the UK there's not much of this stuff around and a lot of it is heavy etc. Even thinking of importing a roof tent from aus as the UK ones are generally massive heavy horrible looking things!
Hi Alex, i also have a RV solutions set of drawers in my Patrol, although i think in hindsight i should have used the configuration that you have chosen. I didn't fit mine but you and Rhiannon made it look easy:) (I hope that i have spelt her name correctly. my apologies if I haven't)
Great setup. What do you think about some kind of barrier to keep gear from falling behind the fridge? I haven't done that yet with my set-up and it's starting to drive me crazy. Stuff will fall in the way and then I have to go around and move it before I can slide the fridge back in.
Yeah that drove me nuts on my last setup so I built a barrier out of an old screen door. Haven't had any trouble with things falling down the back or sides with this setup yet
i just bought a BA falcon and aggresivly shoved a locked ( totally not welded) diff in it. how much of the boot lid do I have to cut in order to fit this setup?

I had one in the past, one of the fold over ones. It was the biggest pain in the backside. If I was to do it again I'd get a hard shell tent, but they're SO expensive I just can't justify it
I mean Chinese manufacturing is said to be on average the poorest in the world. I doubt you'll find much on this channel. Sorry Alex won't be promoting slave labour either.
@@Aussiecamper please share your evidence stating it's the poorest? have you thought that maybe the companies/customers that outsource to them are just the cheapest, and killed their own local industries. you get what you pay for.
@@Alex.G does that include shilling for a company that abandoned aussie manufacturing by outsourcing to make a quick buck, committed commercial suicide, and rebranded with a renewed sense of "patriotism," that you now promote? which part of that is ethical? you bash china for the quality of the products, when the products are built to the price point/specs that the company you're shilling for, contracted them to, likely because aussie buyers would not or could not afford locally made products.
Okay I see the point you're making but it's not all about the quality. It's about keeping more money in your country of origin, supporting local and small businesses and in doing so trying to bring some manufacturing back home. This is the first comment just so I can beat Brayden to it 😁 @4x4campingadventures

As someone that works in Aussie manufacturing for the automotive aftermarket industry, thanks for the spiel.
They look awesome!
They drawers look mint mate! Completely transformed the back for ya!
Good to see ya on the mend with the wrist brother! Good lookin set of drawers, stacked drawers are the way i reckon
Thanks mate 🙂 yeah getting there with the wrist! So far pretty convenient with the stacked drawers for sure 😁
@@Alex.G Porn addiction is a serious ailment. This is why I use a watermelon ;)
Might have to take that advice on, dunno how much longer the other wrist will hold up!
Nice thumb operation of the Tool Pro 18v 5000! with 2500nm 10 speed torque setting including 20amph lithium ion
Anything from the old Black Widow guys, you know will be good gear!
Have had mine for 3 years, best things ever! was identical to yours but now changing it up just a little 😉
Seems like we're all going through drawer change ups at the moment! 😄
@@Alex.G it was wife approved why wouldn’t I? Lol 👍🏻
Very nice set of Drawers. quite a lot of usable space with the big shelf on top!
giving me ideas about what i can do further with my GU.
i liked the video before watching it because i already know its gonna be good.
Great run-through of the draws Alex. They look like a well designed unit, which is going to give you heaps of storage.
Looks great Alex. Well done. Since I’ve had mine installed I haven’t looked back
They look the good Alex. Great to see you get to supervise lol. Cheers Steve
Bloody nice setup mate 👍
Very nice walkthrough 👌

Good stuff mate I’ve got their tilt fridge slide mint bit of kit and good quality! Good to see your on the mend 👌🏼
The draws look awesome guys 👍🏼. Lifted out one of my Boab draws today 😮, thinking might be time to go alloy to save some weight.
Super tidy Alex, great work 👍👍👍 🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲
Awesome stuff Alex, where do you get the bags from you put your kitchen gear in?
Rob
You can get them from grabmegear.com
Nice man you must be wrapped!!
I don’t have a patrol or need for a drawer system. But I still enjoyed the vid. Good work mate.
GreatbVid Alex, also great to see BW back too, albeit as RV... have some BW in the Patrol ute. Always good Aussie gear.
Good video Alex. How much did they weigh as installed?
Yas!!! RV make the best drawers 👌

Cool bro 😎
Love it all, except the checker plate. There's got to be a better alternative that doesn't stand out so much.
Hey Alex, nice set up. Where does the table store when its not being used?
In my case it slides perfectly next to the fridge between that and the drawers 🙂
When are you next going on a 4b? Should revisit powerlines
How much. ? Alloy is way to go I almost got a Outback double drawer but at almost 90 kg forget it. Cheers 👍🏻
I looked into their pricing and off the top of my head in this configuration it was about $3400 I think. All the pricing is on their website somewhere
What did you do to your wrist? Nice set new up 👍

Where is the Fish box mate?
In the glove box - all's that needed.

What happened to your wrist?
I tore a cartelige in there using a rivnut tool which required surgery
4th!
I just built my own drawers
I'd love to be able to do that! I'm just so shit at building stuff
