My latest love is Narco Oasis with that blast of tart Passionfruit in the opening "Maracuya" that I grew up eating a lot of, drinking that juice. Sexy dry down.....love it and anything from Narcotica.

Love your description of Soie Mal. I’ve seen some videos or descriptions describing it as “smutty” or Uber vixen vibes and I get the opposite. Definitely a soft and elegant scent. A pure scent in my eyes as well.

Double caramel and soie Malaquais are two of my favourite perfume discoveries from last year. Surprisingly the DVN fragrance works really well in the cooler weather too (tried it out as we approach winter here in Sydney)

This is so weird, but upon spraying it today, the sweet fruity woody powdery-ness immediately reminded me (VIBE ONLY- the notes are totally different!) of Hareem Al Sultan EDP 😂

Another great idea for a video! Every day I stand and study my shelves with furrowed brows, deciding on what sort of MOOD or 'vibe' I'm feeling, which fragrance to finish my outfit with. I rarely think in terms of 'what notes I feel like smelling'. It's all about frame of mind for the day. For me to reach for a no nonsense classic chypre is a rare mood; L'Heure Bleu by Guerlain, Bandit by Robert Piguet or Eau de Soir by Sisley promises a day when I ain't playin', when I don't care about the warm and fuzzy interactions with my neighbours and colleagues. On those unusually self-contained, self-assured days I'd never go for a gourmand. I wonder what YOU and your viewers wear when you/they feel 'no nonsense' and aloof and unwilling to humour tiresome antagonists and halfwits? What's the olfactory armour and private joy for THOSE days? 🤔
A bit out of subject but do you have recommendations for sweet perfumes with a touch of green note or tart note (like Poets of Berlin with the bamboo or Delina with the rhubarb).

Oo that's a good question! I would recommend trying Navitus Ambrosia Imperiale, Maison Crivelli Hibiscus Mahajad, Rirana Tonka Nutmeg, or Nishane Ani :)

I never imagined I’d love a fruity floral until I received a sample of Lionora dupe from Dapper. Holy moly! I ended up getting multiple decants of the OG and 🤤😋😋😋 That’s now on my wishlist for sometime in the next 1-2 yrs.
Mind Games is a very interesting brand; you should brush up on the material resources ie the passion fruit is from upcycled passion fruit juice industry! 😮

If you havent yet I really recommend getting your nose on Memoirs of a Perfume Collector - Tales from Zanzibar
("Top notes: Lime, Red Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Mint
Middle notes: Coconut, Guava, Cassis
Base notes: Musk Cocktail, Ambergris, Candied Fruits, Moss") it is GUAVA HEAVEN, and gorgeous coconut leans unisex and is potent stuff.
and then Trouble in Paradise -

Middle Notes : Rum, Caramel, Leather, Violet
Base Notes: Moss, Amber, Sandalwood, Animalic Notes, Transparent Oud")
Also potent, not as much as a projector as TfZ though, also unisex, mango is the star. But I do more men rn going wild for TfZ at least in one of our main UK frag groups
Oh yes, I hear so many love those 2 from Memoirs! I’ve tried them and liked them, but there would be some aspect of the fragrance that wasn’t quite the right fit for me. I do appreciate the creativity from that house, hoping to find one that hits the spot for me one day :)
Hey, Lattafa is a miss for me sadly enough. I had high hopes but maybe they were too high… i cant really smell it on my skin unless i over overspray and then it goes away after 30 mins…

Ok hear me out.. I really want to know what your thoughts are (good or bad) on Ed Hardy’s for women (pink bottle) perfume. This was a highschool scent for me and has been my fav that I go back to for over 10 years.. it’s fruity and performs so well all day and projects amazing. I always get the most compliments on it every time I wear it. I’m so curious how you’d feel about it. Let a girl knowwwwww

The mango was nice but theres soooomething about it that made me declutter.
The lady i tried to sell it to smelled the atomizer and winced she didnt like it at all. Even made a stank face.

I talk about fragrances that are $20 up to luxury prices, people can then decide for themselves what they’d like to check out depending on what’s in their personal budget and what aligns with their taste.
