  • A dangerous lake-effect snowstorm paralyzed parts of western and northern New York on Friday, with nearly 2 feet of snow already on the ground in some places by midmorning and possibly much more on the way. The storm's severity varied widely due to the peculiarities of lake-effect storms, which are caused by frigid winds picking up moisture from the warmer lakes, and dumping snow in narrow bands. #lakeeffectsnow #newyork #newsy

This does not paralize us. We clean it up from the roads and get on with our lives. We're only inconvenienced for a day or so, our homes and lives don't get destroyed. Give me the snow over hurricane s, tornados, wild fires, etc.

And once again we worry about the north eastern liberal states, while real Americans in Dakota, Wyoming...etc carry on.

Accelerated climate change is undeniably, provably and demonstrably reality.
Just because one is incapable or unwilling to apply the cognitive energy to comprehend such phenomena accurately doesn’t mean that your manipulated uninformed regurgitated meme-sized bite is representative of being clever, genuinely informed or as if it’s even something you concluded either way. Critical thinking skills are more beneficial than what you likely call ‘common sense’. Thanks

Scientific fact: The Earth has gone through these warming ages and ice ages for billions of years. During the last warming age, both polar caps completely melted and life flourished. During this warming cycle, we have yet to reach the peaks of the past ones.
How many cars and manmade emissions existed a couple hundred million years ago to cause that warming age?

I'd rather have cold n snow. You could always put on more clothes and use snow to prevent food from spoiling and funny how all your neighbors ban together. Blessings to the sick, elderly, and transplants. TY
