Over here I'm running my september 1988 Dodge ram LE W250 12 valve, two tone red and white. Got the creature comforts like factory ac and the 727 auto trans, wouldn't trade it for the world.
Good vid, a couple things. The LE trim isnt really the top trim. All of the options on the LE trim were able to be added as options on the base trim (Thats why just diesel’s dually D350 has the opening back windows)
I love my weekend warrior Chevy C10, but I might attempt to start a welding business soon and in that case the C10 is going to have to go and I want a pre-DEF diesel truck to replace it with.
Thanks for the video, I found a couple tidbits. Very helpful. I bought an 89 D-350. Barebones version. Single rear wheel with a getrag 5 speed And I’m very happy with it. But will definitely be putting some talc into it. And I use it to haul ALOT of firewood😅😅🎉😮😂❤😊
Intercoolers were only added for emissions they never upped the power due to the transmissions not being able to handle the torque since the power number from 89 to 93 never changed. the non intercooled engines did and can produce more power then a intercooled engine due to them have bigger injector nozzles and bigger fuel bowls. There’s actually a list of all the external and internal changes between those years since they aren’t the exact same engine even though they have the same parts
@@oscarbear7498 for electrical simplicity and stock power adding ya they’re are better but the heads can crack at injector #5 from the heat of the cross over tube I added a intercooler to mine along with the 93 h1c turbo and noticed fuel burnt a bit better
@@Intimidator03you can, but I think you would need to convert it to the newer style grille. The older grille didn’t leave enough room to install the intercooler

Nah i bought a 1st gen cummins 1 ton to use as a work horse, no point in having a diesel i cant use

Do not buy one with a automatic they had bad trans I don't know which is worse to keep buy thinking they get better but they didn't for 20 years
