37 years ago, the holiness Pentecostals preached about this and holiness standards and everyone said it was legalism.
The old school pentecostal preachers preached about abstaining from worldy music,tv shows that influence behaviors. They preached about men wearing earrings, (ya'll just about lost your minds on that one) especially when the atheletes started to wear earings. They preached about there should be a difference between men should have short hair,and women should have long hair. Again, everyone said legalisitic. All the old school pentecostals preached about these things, Church of God, Assembly of God,PAW,Apostolic Faith, some Four Square,UPCI. They all preached about these issues 37-40 years ago.

Good message. The only push back I have is, a message specifically to men needs to be exclusively to men. We receive hard truths differently in the presence of women.
When it’s just us, we’re challenged and motivated. With women in the room, it’s embarrassing. Not because of ego, but because of a woman’s tendency to weaponize our flaws.

Where can I find this sermon in its entirety? We, as men, no matter what color you are, have to stand up for our God-given position in the hierarchy of mankind. One may say, “We need to worry only about the Black race.” Men, we need to be worried about the human race. As humans, we tend to imitate what we see in other humans despite our color. I am a proud Black man but I see how some of my Black brothers imitate our White brothers and vice versa. This is human nature. So if a Black man was to see a White man sporting a purse with a dress and he thinks it’s cool, more than likely, he is going to try and rock a purse with a dress, and vice versa. The enemy isn’t attacking just the Black race, he is attacking the human race. It’s not that he has a beef with us, it’s because he has a beef with God. Let”s not forget that “Man” was made in the image and likeness of God, all of Mankind. And for this reason, the enemy will continue to attack mankind. He is not going to beef with God because he knows that’s a no-win situation, so he attacks His creation that He loves more than the rest of His creation, Man. Getting caught up in the “isms” of the enemy is just another ploy to get Mankind to take his focus off of God and to focus on things of no importance. Stay focus brothers and sisters of all colors. Excellent message. Wondering what he will tell the women or will he go soft on them? I have heard this message many times so he is not the first nor will he be the last. Everyone goes hard on men but the trick is to not be fearful of the women. Instead of treating them with kids gloves so as not to get a back lash.

I don’t know of any Black women that had an abortion but I know several that has put their baby up for adoption or a Black couple that adopted. I hear that Black women has a high mortality rate when having children and if they would have had an abortion it would have saved their lives. Also if the baby is stillborn and a physician removes the baby it’s considered an abortion. That could be one of the reasons why the Black abortion rate is high because of the lack of reproductive healthcare and still births, in particular could be factored into those statistics.

Just because they are walking out doesn’t mean they were upset about his message. They could’ve been handling something for the church. Or going to the restroom room. They could’ve been doing anything. We can’t just assume that’s why they walked out.

I was taught not to be walking during scripture reading, prayer or preaching. This is in reverence to God.

That’s anywhere. Not just at church. But in any function when someone is speaking (class, job training etc).
If you have to leave during a speaking engagement, do everything you can leave before someone speaks.
Just preach the rightly divided Word of God at Holy Convocations and express personal societal views in appropriate settings. Otherwise the deportment seems dishonest.

Pastor, as a mother, I would encourage a young man to have a DNA test when any woman claims he's the father of her unborn child. When, I was younger, my baby's father didn't ask for a DNA test, but if he had, I would have been happy to take it, cause I knew that I didn't sleep with more than one man at a time. But today, not so, these young women sleep around more than the men.😮😮😮

I agree with what he was saying. My only issue is with abortion. Now, I am 1000% against abortion. I don't believe anyone has the right to take the life of anyone. Now if you're protecting yourself or your family against someone that's trying to take you out, to me that's different. That's when I will go from Dr. MLK to Bro. Malcolm X and protect me and family by any means necessary. But my issue with those who have and should have a stance against is this, abortion is wrong and it is a sin. But just like every other sin, I don't have a right to make you stop sinning. As a Pastor, I can teach you not to do things according to the bible, but I can't march in front of your house and tell you to stop fornicating. Stop smoking weed and getting drunk. Stop watching pornography. We ALL have been giving a free will. And the bible tells us not to use our liberty in Christ for an opportunity to sin. My issue is, why don't we go after the pornography industry the way we go after abortion? Why wont' the "Evangelicals" go after racism and discriminatory practices the way they go after abortion. Why aren't the churches marching around the drug house, the bunny house in Vegas, the night clubs, the White House? All of these are destroying lives and a culture of people. I'm all about CONSISTENCY! Let's be consistent across the board and go after all of these things with the same fervency we do with abortion.

Abortion is not the main issue, sex is! Abortion is the aftermath of what first takes place in the hook up and the person realizing, they don't want or can't take care of the baby. And like the Bishop said, mostly because the man (boy) who helped produce the baby, don't want to be a part of the responsibility. Let's put more effort in encouraging abstinence or more protective sex. Those that oppose abortion oftentimes will have a problem with those on welfare. So if the woman decides to have the baby and gets on welfare to take care of the baby, she's still ostracized for being on welfare. If this country did a better job at making a young woman or woman feel like there will be support and encouragement, especially from the church, they might think twice about having an abortion. If we show more love towards them (a.k.a., Grace and Mercy. The same Grace and Mercy shown to us by God), then they "might" feel like there's hope if they have the child. But unfortunatley, they get verbally beat up on both sides, so what do you expect them to do. Empathy doesn't mean you agree with what someone is doing, it means we try and get an understanding through support and love. This is how is should be with ALL SIN! Because at the end of the day, all we can do is paint a picture of what could happen if a person makes a decision we know is contrary to the word of God, because we all have the ability and freedom to choose, it's their choice. That's what God does to all of us and every Sunday in the pulpits of this world, the word of God goes forth and we here words that encourage us not to sin, but we sometimes do. I know you're probably saying murder is not the same as a lie or gossip or adultery. In the eyes of God, His word says, if you break one part of the law, you have broken the entire law. Why? Because in the eyes of God, sin is sin. We put levels on it. Not God.

This men day at the Church the Bishop teaching the men their role as a man then they can teach their sons how to be a man; If whoever got up to walk must was a guest a member of the church should no better than to walk during massage unless not trying to be funny has a bathroom problem… I remember my Bishop would tell the whole congregation, no walking during the message unless you have to take a child out for some type of reason on women’s Day it was still the same no walking during the message
