Tbh, in older games the only way to get hidden abilities was through Nintendo's giveaways lol. So forget hidden ability hunting, it was hidden ability begging.
Kryptid___ well he did masuda method and traded it with himself with kingsrock for the politoad, which since he did masuda is 1/512. While if you were to hard reset for a politoed its only 1/1324
Odds don't matter, Dan could've had really bad LUCK and hatched 2k eggs without getting a shiny and Kryptid could've found his shiny in 5 encounters with good LUCK, see where this is going?

Congrats on the shiny Drizzle Politoed! Going for shiny Libero Scorbunny here. Hatched 1,705 for the first blaze shiny, 2,715 for the second Blaze, now I'm at 275 on the third phase. This has been my unluckiest hunt. 4.5k+ eggs
I was so happy to transfer in my shiny politoad from home. It's not HA but I love it so much, unfortunately I run belly drum azumarill or politoad would be on the main team :)
not gonna lie, i used to hate the intro, but today for the first time it brought me a wave of calming energy and relief to watch another video from aDrive, I guess I've completely solidified as a fan now lmao keep it up Dan!
It would be really interesting if they made more breeding items to guarantee more things. So you can guarantee baby gender, or ability, etc. Or what if you can give a pokemon a ball to hold and the first egg will use that ball.
I think this might be just a me thing, but I'm over here having trouble just hunting down a Politoed with Drizzle. However, I did catch a shiny Rockruff! So I can't complain too much.
Just so u know if u get a hidden ability of the pokemon u are breeding with a hidden ability ditto u have almost a guaranteed chance of a hidden ability

If you get a shiny with the ability your don't like you can always use the ability capsule for 50 Bp at the battle tower
