lowpass Crossover | Subwoofer Passive Crossover | 300 Hz Low Pass 8 Ohm Crossover

This inductor is wound with 20 gauge wire to handle 200 watts of power. I think you can use wire wound inductor above 14 gauge. Thank you for your attention.

How many meters of wire did you use?

I didn't measure, it's about 3.5 ounces

It is recommended to use wires above 22 gauge

Have tried this, but it's heating up, it doesnt do as much heat like it can melt the plastic tape, but hurts enough when you touch it, is it really normal or its something i need to worry about

This is not normal. If the wire diameter of the inductor is too thin, or the power of the amplifier is too high, it will generate heat. The inductor can be wound with thicker enameled wire
