Well….this is a prime example of what a sudden crosswind can do to a plane that’s already low to the ground, with short gear, and a very wide wingspan. On a bright note…it’s very easily repaired, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
And yes….very fixable….wait for it👊🏼👊🏼
That looked like Jack Roush trying to land at Oshkosh that one year! Glad it's an easy fix brother Jeff.
Thanks Adam!! All part of this fantastic hobby, if ya think your gonna never have a mishap, this hobby isn’t for you, every good flight or bad crash makes us better pilots. Routine maintenance and repairs are just another expected part of the experience along the way. Thanks for the support buddy👊🏼👊🏼
Always gotta keep that upwind wing down on final in a crosswind or else it’ll bite ya. Hopefully you’ll get her fixed
Definitely fixable….clean break👊🏼
NATE KNOWS. Good to see you nate. Hope all is well 🙏
Your very fortunate to have yours for repair, similar freak wind blew mind away can’t find it to this day 😅
Dag…sorry to hear that, mine is fixed and looks like it never happened, great flying jet👊🏼
Holy cow that was brutal!!! Can’t wait to see the repairs!!!
Won’t take much, pretty clean break at the nose, thanks for watching Matt👊🏼
Ouch, crosswinds I know the feeling. Looking forward to the repair.
Hey…just makes us better, pilots and repairmen right 👊🏼
@@JeffsCustomRC That's right.
Come on, that descent and approach was so extreme that plane was doomed even without a crosswind...at no point was it even close to flat and level. That looked like a STOL competition approach lol.
Nah…plane had landed great all day, it was coming in great, the sudden extreme gust across the field just totally messed that up lol👊🏼
Way to fast and I agree with you. Pilot error.
Jeff I know that feeling well enough. Jeff in LA USA
Hey…it’s all part of the hobby and fixin planes is the other part 👊🏼
Bummer Jeff. Wind shear is real 😳 and so is the challenge
As well as the struggles 🤣👊🏼
Dang Jeff! I am sorry to see that! I hope you are able to fix it up very soon 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Thanks man!! Definitely very fixable 👊🏼
Hate to see that Jeff but it should buff right out!
Little foam tac and she’ll be back in the air real soon👊🏼
Oh Snap. That's a crosswind alright. Hate when they get stronger just when touching down. Definitely fixable. Check that wing that flexed hard though. We love you buddy.
Thanks buddy, it’s very fixable 👊🏼love ya to man👊🏼
cool slow motion!
Thanks buddy👊🏼
The approach wasn't all it could have been to be honest. You know better than what you did. But we are all guilty of doing dumb things. Sorry it was your time for a little reminder.
Yeah…if only I could control the wind, oh well👊🏼
Dang dude, sorry to see that.
All part of the fun, easily fixable, you’ll never know it once JEFF’S CUSTOM RC get done with it 😬
Looks fixable Jeff, get it back in the air soon brother 👊
Absolutely…just the nose, and who doesn’t like a good nose job🤣
@@JeffsCustomRC Definitely been there!
no coke and peanuts for wayne this week !!
Dang it!😂
Lol🤣
Recently an FAA Airworthiness Directive was placed on a number of Gulfstream models prohibiting operations in much x-wind at all. Looks like yours just flys scale. 😂
You are quit correct lol👊🏼👊🏼
Looks like you just flew into the ground and didn't flare to me. And wasn't the windsock crosswind the whole time? 90 deg?
Obviously you didn’t watch the slow motion part of the video. But I’m sure you could have done it better😬
Yep, “high and hot!”
Man that sucks ,,,,,,,cross wind nearly got my big A10 , luckily i just lost my retracts , not sure if i posted that vid , got my friends A10 also
Oh well….make us better pilots right, at least it’s just the nose, and a nose job is in her future 🤣
Everyone died. And this is why we make every effort to land and take-off into the wind.
Yep😬
The “MICROBURST DETECTOR” was down for maintenance and I could feel that wind kick up on my neck and pick up speed going 90 degrees to the runway but there was nothing I could do with my I max 14 pro but film the crime scene🥺 All souls on board survived the crash and were rerouted to SouthWest Airlines flight 6969 to Bermuda for debriefing. No criminal charges have been filed and we were on the golf course at Pinehurst by 2pm. Every passenger received a free air freshener of their choice before exiting the crash site. JCRC Airlines will be back up and running before Christmas.
🤣🤣
Hate it happen to you buddy. If anything, makes you a better pilot!
Lol…hey, it’s part of flyin right, glad I know how to fix it😬
Wow, heartbreak in motion. Some carbon rods, a little glue......
AH
Definitely an easy fix 👊🏼
The "Definition Police" here. A Microburst is a down draft. I think you are thinking about a wind gust.
Lol…and there’s that….I stand corrected, dang wind🤣
Ouch!
No doubt…at least I can fix it lol🤣
Practice your crosswind crab landings. Maiden my Xfly B1B in 20mph plus crosswind no problems.
WOW Jeff what a B***** so sorry sir. Wind trees our age it's all against up. Take care ✌🏼🤩
Thanks Mike…she’s already repaired and ready to fly👊🏼👊🏼
@@JeffsCustomRC BRILLIANT Sir👍🏼
oops ! dang wind :-) ...
Gotta love it👊🏼👊🏼
The Pilots almost always die. 😪
Same thing happened to me with the PJ50 from Motion. Fixed mine and flew it again with no issues. Mines for sale if you know anyone interested? LMAO
Lol Ken, gonna fix mine real soon, just the nose, so pretty easy, could have been worse👊🏼
Ahh thats a shame .
Any crash sucks, but at least it makes us better repairmen 👊🏼
@@JeffsCustomRC Yes sir . Best of luck with the repair .
You boys need more carbon fiber in your diet!
Lol…that’s always a good thing 🤣
Ouch!
Yep…
