I'm Egyptian Canadian, who has didn't know anything about Track Cycling, but thanks to Hoy, Kenny and Wiggins, track cycling became my favourite sport to watch at the Olympics, starting from London 2012 until now, in fact, I'm thinking to travel to Copenhagen next October to attend the World Championship in Ballerup, Denmark, golden British Cyclist generation
Jason and Laura Kenny win the gold medal for being 110% genuine people, they are the sort of people we need to see and accents we need to hear on the BBC commentry team.
If women had been allowed to compete in the Olympics in the 60s and 70s in cycling then Beryl Burton would have had about 10 gold medals. She not only dominated on the road, time trial but was a multiple world track champion as well
Jason was just lucky enough as Matthew Glaetzer opened the big gap for him and I think anyone would have did what Jason did if they saw 30m gap there !
He's won this multiple times before so there is nothing to say he couldn't have won this race the traditional way. And it wasn't just the size of the gap. It was only a posibility because he was given 1st position to start the race. Doing this strategy i think he was just aiming to just get any medel, but was lucky they hesitated as a group when he broke off and no one would take control when he was out head. Plus he is one of the few people that had the reserves and power on the last day of competition to do 3 laps at full speed, that's crazy, not a lot of people can do that. The pain due to the lactic acid build up would have been immense.

Quality Sir Jason Kenny
Good strategy jason!
Good job Jason👍
We can't see the race? Come on Chris!
It's on the BBC Sport channel
Someone riding in the park.
hm.
Chris hoy 6 golds and 1 silver to me is better than 5 gold 1 silver and 2 bronze that Bradley has
Yes, I like Sir Chris Hoy he is a legend!
It's close. Wiggo perhaps has more variety which helps his case. Either way, Jason has now made that debate almost irrelevant.
