      Are you able to get them to fuse well ? What intensifier tube are you running ?

    • @MichaelORourkeProd
      @MichaelORourkeProd 10 месяцев назад

      @@ThatFKNGoon Yes, I'm able to get a satisfactory fusion of the two. It seems to work better if I run the Breach in portrait image orientation & set to out door alert mode. Then I turn the brightness down so that the image in Breach is just a bit dimmer than the PVS14 over my right eye. If you take some time to adjust your diopters, IP distance, focus, etc. you can get a really closely fused image (I'm sure an ECOTI or the like is better, but for the cost of this set-up...). For me it's good enough that I can navigate and then see hot spot alerts appear via the breach. It takes a few minutes for my brain to settle the two images, but after that, all good. If you are moving your head around rapidly you do notice a bit of lag/delay/'trailing' from the Breach image, compared to the 14, but if you are slowly scanning or static everything is fine. I don't know that I'd drive a vehicle or run sprints with this set-up, but for my night vision walks and general observation, I think it works great. It's really fun to walk a trail at night and be alerted to all the sparrows and finches sleeping among the branches. : ). ETA: not sure what tube I have per se, but it is a decent spec genIII green phos.

    I have these. I got this from you guys. Have you noticed some play or rocking on the PVS side at the screw mount? I’m reluctant to really gorilla arm the screw in place. Would you recommend a touch of blue thread lock?

      Don’t be afraid to give it a good turn with some leverage from a screwdriver. Don’t go crazy of course like your putting lug nuts on but that should do it.

    I randomly browsed TNVC and bought these immediately, price point was too good to pass. Got about an hour on them so far and must say they are very nice and much better than a PVS-14 alone. I found matching viewing light intensity helped a lot between the two. Didn’t achieve fusion, not really hoping to, just wanted to not have to carry the thermal. I did find the thermal image would “bleed” over in part on the PVS-14. If you have a FLIR Breach this is a must have.

      Try adjusting the margins in the Breach’s menu and using outdoor alert mode. The only way I can use them together is with outdoor alert mode. When you adjust the margins, do it at your average viewing distance.

    Can anyone confirm if this bridge is compatible with the AGM StingIR thermal? I presume some sort of adapter would be required to connect the mini-rail to the AGM.

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION

      I prefer the KVC for the QD functionality and portrait view capability but honestly this bridge does what the KVC does at a fraction of the price and it’s available. KVC is unknown eta. We have backorders at TNVC almost 3 years old

    @NiteWalker howdy, do you have any experience with the mh25 by iRay? if so how would you compare it to the flir breach? 1v1 which of the two would you recommend? also how do you like this rayvn mount vs the mod-armory mount? after using and testing all the diff assortment of mounts which one has been the best for achieving a fusion?

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION
      @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION  Год назад +5

      I'm not a fan personally of the MH25. I'm excited for the Armasight Sidekick 640 that's due out July/August. It is the same form factor as the Breach but with a 640 sensor. The Rayvn Rail is the best thing available on the market for mounting a -14 and Beach. The crown still belongs to the KVC bridge IMHO but those have been backordered since 2020 and the setup is over $1k. Unknown when they'll make more. The Rayvn Rail accomplishes the same task at $375 and is in stock.

      @@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISIONIs there something about the MH25 in particular, in comparison to the Sidekick, that you don't like? Seems everyone raves about it and its ability to accept a PVS-14 ocular lens on it. Oh, any updates on the TAD release date?

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION
      @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION  Год назад

      @@zr6671 I think it’s worth waiting. The Sidekick ETA is July/August so not far away. There aren’t any in the wild so I’d wait and see how it is when they start shipping with what people post about it but I’m expecting it to be pretty good with the 640 version.
