      Not really
      End zones are longer
      Touchback is worth one point
      Only 3 downs
      Only 9 teams
Flag on calling challenges by tapping your head
Batting the ball out of bounds is legal
      The drop kick is legal
The defence has to be 1 yard behind the line of scrimmage
The ball is shaped slightly different
The field goal posts are at the goal line and not at the back of the end zone
The center field is 55 not 50
      And many more changes…

A typical crowd from Canada's greatest American city. Maybe somebody should tell these folks in T.O. that the nfl isn't coming to that city. Ricky Ray deserved better. For years now this sad city has been the weak link in the cfl when it should be our strongest franchise. The people of T.O. should be ashamed, I applaud the hard core Argo fans who are showing up to support their team. The ownership should try to put more bums in those seats but maybe they don't care anymore than the rest of the people in Toronto. The talent has never been better (esp. Canadian). If by American you mean New England then yes Toronto is similar to Boston. In reality, Toronto is an international metropolis. People migrate here for education or employment. Even those who have citizenship are in many cases first generation Candians that weren't raised on exclusively Canadian culture / values. In other words, the majority of Toronto's population are only partially Torontonians / Canucks. Almost every large city in the world has these dynamics. The CFL is a very old school Canadian product. The organization makes an effort to make inroads into various communities but it ultimately doesn't move the needle much. Nothing to be upset about. It's just the way it is. Happy Canada Day! / Bonne Fete du Canada!
