Nigerians are very high energy people. For some people it may come off as intimidating but its just us....we're not known for being dull.
"No dulling!" ...is a common phrase in Nigeria. Love that!
I remember her. One of the best beauty queens ever. She was so happy for Jamaica when she won and it won viral.
Yeahhhh
Oh wow that was her
I'm Nigerian but haven't been in Nigeria since 2017, I'm currently planning a trip this summer, seeing these videos made me look forward to that trip🇳🇬
In Lagos State, Victoria Island (VI) and other parts of the Lagos Island are the high-end parts of Lagos. Actually, the Lagos Island houses some of the most expensive communities and real estates around the World. Meanwhile, the mainland of Lagos is the hotbed of the real Lagos energy.
In many societies and communities in the Southern part of Nigeria, most especially among the Yoruba people, pounded yam is regarded as the King of all foods.
We see! We have a video coming up next month to share something on this.
It will be close to impossible to know so much about the culture of Nigeria, because it's a very multi cultural country even as citizens there's so much we can do.
Wow.. it must be Christmas today 😅, loving the Nigerian reactions❤️🇳🇬
Just a normal day in Nigeria
Nigerians and drama, 5 and 6. The main reason every other country kinda sees us as aggressive but they miss it as we use our whole body for communication. You would think he is marketing happiness. You would even think he is d presenter of the program. Una and drama.
Great content guys. From naija 🇳🇬 with love
Thanks! Much love!
The cook saw an opportunity and ran with it😂😂😂😂love him
I am also a loyal follower of Sonny, he really has taught me a lot
I love my country, I'm tearing up 🇳🇬🇳🇬
Thanks for these reactions😭❤
He described amala, pounded yam n other swallows perfectly. The food literally comforts u frm the inside. Cnt put it any other way
for clarity, the first part with yakoyo and White House restaurants are on the Lagos Mainland, while the exotic restaurant is on the Island part of Lagos
Yakoyo is on the island as well.
@@rakiyahussaini962 we know..but that particular one is on the Mainland
Well done guys. Your Nigerian subscriber.
Food plays such a big part in Maori/Aboriginal culture.. wherever there are people coming together, there is food.. even our cultural myths and legends in some way or another are connected to our food.. the decisions make in our home and likewise the big anouncements and family issues, events and meetings all happen, you guessed it, in the kitchen.. it is the focal place in our home.. ❤ I really felt it when Miss World Africa said she was emotional eating the food because im exactly the same, ive always had an emotional connnection to my food, it is much more than it tasting good and filling my belly.. it connects me to memories and links me to my heritage.. ❤ ive cried many times in this way..
Victoria island is like Beverly hills it's unnecessary expensive but Lagos island is big and every area has levels to it
There's Victoria Island which is like Beverly hills
There's Ikoyi which is like Manhattan
And there's Lekki which is like a rich Suburb
Theirs more but this are the important rich places
Banana island is richest of the richest
I succumb Bro 👍
You are CORRECT 👍🏿 BRO
Very true. There are lots of comfortable places to stay in Lagos without breaking the bank. Especially places in the island
I think y'all need to visit the Victoria Island which is good for your family to settle down
When you eventually visit Nigeria, best time is December. Travel from Lagos to Onitsha to Enugu then Uyo and Calabar. Touch down Port Harcourt and Abuja too.
Love from Nigeria ❤🇳🇬
Its obvious y'all are moving home to Nigeria soon. Visit us in Abuja when you two move.
😅 We'll visit for sure!
@@TheDemouchetsREACT Your love for Nigeria is great... We welcome our own home. If your DNA says you both are not Nigerian, then it was swapped. 😆😆😆
Yes we do love to party and we are the best at partying
These are the foods that makes us to be the most educated ethnic groups or immigrants in the US and UK ❤️❤️❤️
That's what makes us the happiest people in the world ❤️❤️
Una mouth too much.
@@childrentoys4537 that na facts 😂😂😂😂
@@childrentoys4537 nor mind dem 😄
Lagos is actually divided into 2. The mainland and the island. The island is fresher and cooler but the mainland is where the hustle and bustle happens.
Nice video.
Nigeria is a large country with multi diverse cultures and the music, food, etc vary greatly though one or two similarities in some. The Southern part is known for their amala, ewedu with orishirishi( Lagos being the largest city in the Southern part has the mainland and island, the island is a cool and serene area with lots of "the high and mighty individuals" while the mainland is where the bustle and hustle of Lagos life takes place, where you see anyhow if you do anyhow.
The Northern part of Nigerian is known for their tuwo Masara, chinkafa, etc with large cities like Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Jos.
The Southeast is the hub of delicacies where you see lots of lots of food like ofe nsala(white soup), ofe ora, onugbu(bitter leaf), ukwa(breadfruit) okpa(bambara), agbugbu, akidi(blackbeans), abacha(African salad) to mention but a few with big cites like Enugu, Aba, Onitsha, Owerri, etc.
Just be prepared to get the whole experience bc knowing one part of. Nigeria is never knowing Nigeria
The part I like is "...we are on the road to 100k 🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩" I am hungry 😀
Yeaaahhhh,fam!
Most people don't eat all that food at once. They take it away and eat later.
Nigeria for life no dull moment
11:44 mama Africa walks by behind her, with her big blessings behind her
Love from Naija
It is pronounced "Leh-gors" (Lagos) with a stress on the 1st syllable. Good reaction beautiful family.
Hmm, Nigeria is very difficult to react to that is why people outside of Nigeria find it had to know unless you are there or spent sometimes there.
I will like you guys to make "Banga", "Owo", and "Egusi" from the south south and south east of Nigeria.
Nice video, shout-out to you guys ❤️❤️🔥🔥
Love what you guys are doing.
OMG! I know the girl in the food video! We went to the same secondary school, she was my senior!
She was actually the winner of The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2019 and she was top five in Miss World's pageant too.
Check her out at Onyekachi Douglas
Damnnn!! Now i know why they say we're loud😂
Victoria Island is still inside Lagos..
Oh that's yakoyo in surulere 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Lagos is just one of the states in Nigeria we have 36 states plus Abuja . Every tribe hv their own delicacies so the normal egusi , ogbono u see is just two or thousands of soups and delicacies .
Seven years ago, I worked in Victoria island, I have moved to ikoyi island., A neighborhood close to Victoria island...
Nice contents guys 👌
But i'll suggest that you come over to Nigeria and just feel us (the culture, the foods, music etc)
💚
From my observation there are very many similarities between African Americans and Nigerians. For one thing both peoples know how to make their presence felt no matter where y'all are. It may come across as loud and flashy but y'all definitely turn up as the life of the party and leave an impression. It's all love though 💕
... meanwhile the Kenyan in me is far too reserved.😅
Victoria Island.. Here!! Mb ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
You can start with the Jollof Rice... ✔️♥️
Nigeria would have been one of the richest nation on earth. But they are suffering from extreme bad leadership since 1980
How about military rulers prior to that?
You must be joking??
Did he just called the food portion?
You guys should react on Nigeria food buy them food in USA try it out then react.i swear you won’t regret it. I will suggest you buy egusi soup and pounded yam, Jill of rice, Amala and ewedu. Then Eba and Okoro soup
We are uploading our Nigerian cooking vlog soon. youtube.com/@LifeWithDem
Mainland has existed for hundreds of years and is an ancient part of Lagos
The eros chef meant bone marrow
Nigeria is more populated than combination of Ghana and south Africa
Still didn't reach the number...... South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya and Ghana combined
@@promisebethel2226 All these countries you mentioned put together is 210.03 million people and only Nigeria is 213.04 million Lol keep playing
@@promisebethel2226 213.4 million is just 2021population 2022 it increased to 218.5 lol so don't think of that comparison again
I used to live in Victoria Island before moving to U.S
Make us some videos trying ghanian and nigerian food please
I live in Victoria Island and I eat at Yakoyo alot
lol he was probably talking about bone marrow it’s like butter kinda
I live on Lagos Island
What's the name of your cooking channel?? It would be nice to learn about American culture or black American culture outside mainstream media
youtube.com/@LifeWithDem
It's our family channel. We took a break from vlogging right now, so we're just cooking on there for now.
“Bravo bravo”😅😅
Nice one
Victoria island is inside Lagos
Food is very very cheap in Nigeria
Pepare a smoked party lollof rice
Nigeria is multicultural. More than 20tribes and languages. So you may never understand our culture. Ghana has almost same population as Lagos alone and we have 36states🤷
Lagos -Gbagada
Yah am in Victoria island
9ice one
THE NIGERIAN FOOD gives you the NATURAL SUGAR you need which makes you less susceptible to drug addiction and smoking and drinking alcohol etc
he meant the bone marrow
I can't wait for the day you will actually react to Lagos cities and not the rural areas.....
