Hello Neil, re the 500e. FIAT must be congratulated in producing a stylish, small auto. Yes I realise it's expensive and a far cry from the original 500 but by comparison family electric cars are priced at £40,000 to £60,000. An electric Panda (if it were possible to maufacture) would be more practical (larger boot space) but it's the 500 that generates the cash for FIAT.
Great video as usual. Would love to see you do the 757 from Tenerife to Newark. Question maybe for a future video is which of the Canary Islands is your favourite out of them all.
Ha thanks David. I’ve just put the finishing touches to the next video which details my trip around the island with the Fiat. I loved the electric car - the torque, the silence etc - it wasn’t my easiest trip though as you’ll see!
@@MomentsInTheSky Looking forward to the next video then... I'm also in a love-hate relationship with the electric BMW I3s that I am driving at the moment... During the winter the range is 50% lower than in summer.
Car looked lovely but I dread the next video , why have them when we can’t maintain them it’s just beyond me . Lovely duplex and again Ryanair getting positive reviews . My going to lithuania was superb and a great crew etc . Hope your well and look forward to the next video 👍
interesting sharing-😯
Second part coming soon!
Looks quite a nice hotel &suites absolutely love this area 👍🏻
Thanks Nikki, it’s definitely somewhere I’d go back to..I’m amazed I’d never heard of it until now 👍
Thanks Neil very interesting video I like the idea of trying an electric car 👍
Thanks James..hold that thought until you’ve seen part two!
“Let’s go and find a bottle of whisky.” What a fine thing to do. I’ll be keen to get your thoughts on EV driving. Great vid as always.
I did find that whisky eventually!
Excellent video.
Thanks Colin!

Great video. Could do with some winter sun myself!
Thanks Jonathan..I must admit I do love the sun! ☀️

Now there’s an idea Dan!
Hold that thought on the favourite island..I’ve got one more to try in March then I’ll let you know! 🏝️ ☀️ 🇪🇸
I do always find it surprising that Ryanair take my BA American Express 😂
👍😝
As my only car is an i3 (no range extender) from new for 4 years, I love it! Just wish the range was better. I am not an ecomentalist btw.

Wow really, that much difference in winter? It makes sense I suppose
@@MomentsInTheSky Yep! It is mildly annoying sometimes.
Well not as much as 50%, for mine it is more like 15/20%.

Ha thanks Kieron..dread is probably the right word! Stay tuned..!
Parking or do you get the train?
I prefer the train but given the early flight and late arrival back I end up having to drive
50%??? In 15 miles? The i3 is way better in that weather! 50 miles at least for 50%.
Sorry yea, 15% - still quite steep though. That said I don’t think it’s designed to be driven at high speed.
