I swear Salvatore and Santangelo from mafia 3! First names are similar like both start with S and both have long names, then body type build, but the most his face are like identical just Salvatore older and that can be a good Easter egg maybe Salvatore is his grandfather or something? Just a theory but I like to believe that

Don Peppone was a head of the "Peppone" crime family, which consisted of Coletti, Don Morello, Don Salieri, Sergio Morello and many other soldiers that were subordonate to the beforementioned caporegieme.
Peppone was inspired by the famous mobsters Lucky Luciano and J. Colosimo. Prior one was the father of the Cosa Nostra constitution, while the latter one was the father and pioneer of the proto mafia family in Chichago ("The Colosimo Crime Family")
Peppe is know as the father of the contemporary mafia within the fictional world of the game. He established codexes, dispositions and rules of how mafia mebers ought to behave and conduct themselves, which stopped the massacares in which mobsters were killing themselves like flies.
He also switch from murders and robberies to the more "silent" and/or white collar crimes, such as racketering and protection... just as import/export of the forbiden goods. Under his influence, cops were better to have as friends than enemies, and mafia went from violent brutes to under the radar, organized criminal
Salieri and Morello were greedy for power, so they decided to drown their boss by portraying the scene as an accident.
Family fisioned into two families afterward, and those two are in the war since.

8:36 Mafia is a realistic game. you have to see the enemy on the screen until the mini map shows them, you know what I mean ? it's like you gotta spot them first.
The part with Carlo is my favorite part of the story by far. Great video as always Tegan

The Great Deal mission always reminds me how a big part of the OG 2002 Mafia's charm was its use of licensed music; though anachronistic to the mission's setting, the getaway chase after you leave the parking garage in was set to Louis Jordan's "You Run Your Mouth And I'll Run My Business", which I think stands next to "La Verdine" (used when Tommy runs through the alleyways to escape Morello's goons early in the game, as well as another car chase in a later mission) as my favorite use of licensed music to give the right atmosphere in that game.
This series makes me wanna buy this game so badly 😂

25:00 so funny story. When I was playing God of War 3 on PS3, the game crashed. It did that buzzing noise, but it did it at an insane volume. If my TV is loud at 12, this was 100. Damn near knocked me out of my chair by force. I had to unplug the ps3 to get it to stop.
So much murder, if only she had disabled the alarm and stolen the nice car from the front yard. :)

You’re doing good, but a couple tips for you. Reload your weapon in between the fighting and learn to pick up ammo from the enemies you take out. Don’t rely so much on your minimap to spot all of your enemies too, it only spots enemies your character already knows about, but not always the ones that are hiding behind cover or spawning into the game. Keep it up though, you’re doing a great job.

The Owner Pepe of Pepe's restaurant and his mother survived that was the bar tender who died in case others are wondering I forgot where it was mentioned but I think I note says to give money to Pepe and his mother to pay for damages.
The original 2002 version of "Visiting Rich People" had Salvatore just speaking English, though since tripping the safe alarm wasn't scripted, it was possible to make a stealthy getaway even after the prosecutor returns home and have Salvatore open his car, which was a Silver Fletcher, the same car Morello drives.
Salieri's attack on Carlo was also much less grim and more lighthearted in the original, though it still served as one of the main points in the story where Tommy got paranoid about his future.

Also, in the original both Sam and Paulie were vastly different.
Paulie was more serious and menaceing...he was more violent and alinged with Tommy DeVito inspiration. In the DE he's show to be quite violent but only when angered, while overall vibe is lighearted.
Sam went througout biggest change. In the original he was a HC gangster completley loyal to Salieri, while in DE they made him a wus.
EG: In the original he finished the hotel girl, Frank and Paulie, while in DE he saved the girl ("You're lucky Sam is a good guy.)
In the end of DE, he pleaded for his life, while in the original the dialouge was way better.
Ending monolouge after Angelo got shot was vastly better in the original too.
But overall, DE is a good play.

You completely ignore the ammunition left over from your enemies and then you're surprised you don't have anything to shoot with...
Especially since you're dealing with a minimap that acts perfectly normal (unless your Tommy is one of the Avengers and shit).

I thought i was the only one having that audio issue, it happens randomly like once every few weeks, no lead up, always a surprise and painful.
And not just in the Maffia game that i played months ago.
I'm on PC though, so i wonder what the the similarities are that cause it to happen. For me, it usually stops once i unplug and replug the USB connector of my headphone.

I wont copy paste it here since native italian speakers have already done a better job...
But it's a great app, i'd recommend it, any time someone in a game says something in another language, i can just have it translated live.
Same for things like things in the news, say in the ukraine-russia situation, you see text and you are wishing you could read Cyrillic... just pull out your phone and bam, right there, instant translation.
A sign you want translated from Japanese anime? never been easier.
It does audio too, though i have never tried that.

You will find the story more interesting and surprising once going more towards the end. When you reach the ending and playing Mafia 2 there'll be the moment in the game. There's a theory for it and you'll be surprised.

Back in the 1920s, both Salieri and Morello were friends and capos of the Peppone Crime Family - however, that came to an end, when Don Peppone was killed by both Salieri and Morello as a means to take over control of the criminal underworld in Lost Heaven. To keep the peace, they divided the city between them, with the Salieri Crime Family controlling Little Italy on the West side of the river and the Morello Crime Family controlling North Park on the East side of the river. Their friendship should have secured the peace between them, but then they started to compete with one another, which became the beginning of the fierce rivalry that lasted into the 1930s…
