Honestly, semis should be banned from ever using the left lane on a three lane highway. Trucks also shouldn't cruise in the middle lane either. Fucks up traffic for miles in urban areas when they're 10 mph below the speed limit.
Watching this, it would appear that you are just hanging out in that middle lane, not allowing other traffic to pass. They have signs posted "slower traffic keep right". We all know that passing on the right is illegal. The law also says unless you are actively passing another vehicle you are impending the flow of traffic. REGARDLESS OF THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT. Now for your students that I'm sure are watching this. Nothing wrong with being in that middle lane. The problem is that once in the middle lane drivers no longer check their mirrors and back up traffic. I travel in that lane, but when I see other drivers coming up behind me, I also move over to get out of the way and then move back.
It is for trucks in some states and it doesn't matter how slow the traffic in front of you is either, Trucks don't have the same rights as cars, In my opinion it shouldn't be a problem unless you're impeding traffic
First of all trucks aren't allowed in the far left lane. Secondly, you are not allowed to ride in the left lane. It is for passing only. Technically, you're not supposed to ride in the middle lane either, but it's semi-allowed because semi trucks tend to drive really slow in the right lane, so you'd have to constantly pass anyway.
@@richlaue I think there should be a Federal law that all personal vehicle's should be governed at the speed limit in the state they are purchased, I'd like to see all the cars loose thier sh*t when they can't pass each other or break the maximum speed limit.
That's weird because where I live it's the exact opposite. There's only restricted truck lanes for a small amount on specific roads. And at that point, it's a sign that says, trucks keep right, or trucks right two lanes. I mean, if one's passing, that's fine, but they need to, in those cases, stay towards the right.
Love that someone gets this. lol I see traffic on four - five lane highways backed up and slowed 20mph under the speed limit for miles because a singular truck was cruising in the left two lanes not passing anyone going 10mph under.
My guy even used an indicator and the next vehicle had a healthy distance between them so this was wrong and stupid.
This is stupid.
Not sure of the laws in NJ but that looked like a legal pass on the left with blinkers... are trucks not allowed in left lane?

Is like passing illegal or something?

@@rickochet8346with the exception of a few miles on the southern end, trailers are not allowed in the left lane.

That's not karma it's just dumb
The red truck was probably hogging the middle lane. The middle lane IS a trucks passing lane.. how about you move over so that truck can pass??
