Just picked up the 16 oz rip claw , I think it's great that they're made in Vietnam,,, Ha ha,, it's a great hammer, that will last my lifetime, and I'll pass it on to my grandson,,
I have the 28 oz version less than a year and the milled faced is already almost smooth I’m thinking of switching to a fiberglass hammer because the steel dewalt hammer has too much vibration
I work in construction, still don't get the point of the putting the nail on the hammer thing, handy for working on a ladder I guess, if you have to reach, but seems gimmicky, although the hammer is good it self.
@@Toolbarn hmmm by the time you take the time to pick up a nail and put it on the hammer you might as well just put the nail to the wood and hammer it.

It's to start the nail faster.

I see it as a safety feature so ur finger doesnt get smashed on accident when you are setting the nail.
@@quinton1966 It's much more accurate to just take the nail with your hand exactly where you want it, and gently tapping it to start it off.
It's for when you can only use one hand, like reaching up from a latter or something. Makes sense to me I don't get the mystery...
Hello, how do I get a hammer like the one from the beginning of the video ... I'm from Brazil and working with carpentry
Not sure, we do not ship to Brazil.
