Happy Sunday Morning! After our show in Lake Orion, MI, the band and I stuck around for a little longer to jam on this song of mine called "Whiskey Down." Man, was this one fun! We only did one single, solitary take because we wanted the off the cuff spirit to be there, and I'm glad we did! Thanks so much to Scott Loudon at Aashrum Studio for recording this video of us at 20 Front Street. Everyone involved in that venue is so awesome, and it's been a pleasure to play a few shows there over the years. About Reina del Cid:
Reina del Cid is a singer songwriter and leader of the eponymous folk rock band based in Minnesota. Her song-a-week video series, Sunday Mornings with Reina del Cid, has amassed a devoted and diverse following made up of everyone from jamheads to college students to white-haired intelligentsia. In 2011 she began collaborating with Toni Lindgren, who is the lead guitarist on all three of Del Cid’s albums, as well as a frequent and much beloved guest on the Sunday Morning videos. The Sunday Morning videos also feature a rotating cast of bandmates, special guests, and occasional random bystanders. The new full length album Morse Code is available now.

Super country !! From France.
I was lucky enough to see Reina, Toni and the rest of her band, terrific musicians all, last Sunday in Madison. Chatted with Reina at the merch table, 65 year old starstruck fan that I am, and mentioned how much I love The Cooling. It wasn't even on their set list but they played it! Just go and see them live. I'm still smiling two days later.
December 2nd 2019... I discovered this band's music videos on RUclips this morning. I'm blown away by how good they are. Sweet serendipity!.

I’ve really loved this band and what really draws me in is not just Reyna’s voice ,the guitar and and dobro, but that wonderful harmonica!!! You don’t hear harmonica in bluegrass or country, so listening to this made me want to bust out my ol’ harp and play along
