You two are fabulous to watch. I've resisted doing "small" things since I don't like fiddly. But now I can't decide what to join, what to do, which, what. This video is so inspiring to me.
I made the December mystery gnome. Only beause my Mom loves gnomes. By the end I was also in love! I learned so much and Sarah's video are really informative. It's so fun when you put all the parts together.
I love these patterns and would love to participate. But i have to say nearly $10 for each pattern would be quite an investment by the end of the year. Best wishes for the year of gnomes kal.
You don't need to buy all of them unless you just want to. You can knit as many or as few as you like. Also, Sarah has a deal shown in the description of the patterns where you buy 3, get the 4th one free. And, if you're in the US, the conversion rate works in your favor.
I want to be Sarah’s best friend! I think I’ll change the spelling of my name to Gnancy… Yes Jana, Christmas gnome in July sounds like something to look forward to.
This truly was a delightful video Jana and Sarah! I love Sarah's analytical brain! I am considering joining the 12 months gnome knitting. Her naming for her gnomes is fun.
I love this episode!!! Gnomes are wonderful. Going over to Sarah’s website now. Jana you are an enabler! I look forward to your videos. I think of you as a friend. Catch up with you later!
I am kind of confused about where to get the PDF stories about gnomes. I would like to knit and gnome and give PDF page to my grandkids. I will join Sarah’s Patreon and get some coloring pages for them. I hope she keeps writing gnome stories because she is obviously very creative.
I believe the stories are offered with some (but not all) of the Mystery Knit Along (MKAL) gnome patterns. Send Sarah and email to make sure of which patterns have accompanying stories and which do not. www.imaginedlandscapes.com/contact/
Question within comment….Love this so much. My daughter collects gnome statue’s and had them in her garden. Now in her house one day they we be outdoors again. I love that Sarah has a gnome named Noah, that’s my grandsons name. I need to make that one for him. Can you tell me please the name of that particular pattern? Naturally, any gnome can be named whatever but he likes RUclips and watches the craziest things. Things you’d never imagine a toddler would watch. Thanks so much for sharing your gnominess with us.
Thank you Jana and Sarah! What a fantastic conversation! I really enjoyed spending my morning with you! I knit my first gnome last month during the MKAL and am excited to gnome throughout 2022! Cheers, Kate
I really enjoyed the conversation and the energy you both conveyed for these adorable gnomes ... I do have some non-wearable items on my list to knit this year and gnomes definitely fit this bill. Thanks for sharing all the enthusiasm 😀
I am trying without luck to find the book mentioned in your chat by Sarah. Can you help please ? I saw a few but none that was number 2. Thanks so much. Love the gnomes. I did the mkal before this one. I didn't have time in December but started him for January.
I'm not certain what you're referring to. Are you talking about one of the gnome patterns? Would you be able to tell them the time stamp on the video where we're talking about what you're wanting?
@@PurlTogether thanks I should have thought about that to begin with. At 2 minutes and about 45 seconds she describes a book that tells you how to personalize patterns.
I love gnomes!! I started with the book Gnomes by Wil Huygen. I would absolutely love to do a Christmas in July "mystery" KAL. Please please!
Oh Jana - this was meant to be. I have both Gnomes and Christmas in July on my 2022 knitting plan list
