I just finished a Amazon load this morning here in the Midwest; Kansas City. I have been active now going on 3 weeks and I only run with Amazon. That $750 for 5 days is NOT what I have made. I have my first week invoice of which they pay every Friday and I made $2336.37 for 6 days. My second week should be around 2500-3000 for 6 days. The key on my area is to wait and get the adhoc loads which range in payout from $400 to $700 and are to post offices. I had one rejection but my performance grade is a B+. So not sure if him saying $750 for 5 dats was for every Amazon relay area so I’m just adding that I make more here in Midwest. Love the content you guys share!
Yes and remember he was talking about 2 years ago and in Georgia. Things change all the time. The Midwest is REALLY different thank Atlanta. Now you will make way more than that your first week here now. I think our first week we made about 1600. Thanks for your comment and I’m site on the Midwest
Can you please give me any details I would need to know about Amazon Relay in this area because I stay in the Kansas City area and I’m looking forward to getting started in this business. Would a 16ft box truck would work or do I need to look for something like a 26ft box truck
Current Freight Market and rates being so low on the boards because brokers and fuel being so high needs to be a part of the discussion. Personally just talking about the numbers you can make is a little diseving because new companies starting up won't be doing those numbers. It's not like a year ago whenever you all started its completely different, just being 100% honest. Alot of videos talk about the good but don't hilight the real situation going on now. Alot of companies will go out of business quick if they jump in now even large companies are downsizing like cobey pegway because it's not smart financially right now to keep running. Unless you already have a handful of brokers you deal with directly if your business model is solely off the boards or just Amazon it's going to be really tough. Low overhead will be key. Too many new carriers taking cheap freight is part of what's caused the current situation so just hope that discussion can become more present in yalls team as a whole because to a new person jumping in they need to know the current situation otherwise they'll be creating debt not wealth.
Hi Josh. Thanks for your comment. Maybe your new to the channel, but we have had that conversation so many times. We recommend purchasing over renting to cut down overhead. We teach people how to find loads , negotiate and to stop taking cheap freight etc. this video was to show people the potential from real drivers who jumped out there and didn’t stay stuck in the amazon box. We wanted people to see what the potential is in what they can make out here. Thanks again for your comment
@@TheBoxtruckCouple OH yeah for sure, yalls videos are more honest and real than alot of other channels yall are affiliated with and yall keep it real but to be honest not alot of people are emphasizing how bad the current situation really is. I haven't seen a full in depth video from many box truck channels. Rates are the worst they've ever been and fuel is so high so you have to be very selective in what you run. Just don't want people jumping in thinking their gonna make a killing when in reality they won't. It's not as good of a market as last year.
Josh let’s be honest. We have always had to fight for rates. Personally we don’t book less than 4.00 per mile normally but people don’t think like that. They take cheap freight I think out of desperation. You’ve got to know your worth. Yes a lot of RUclipsrs paint a glamorous picture but We see it first hand. They talk about what they are doing they are not settling for less. Perfect example. TrucknOutTheBOx. I watched him book all his drivers for the day at $4 and more per mile. I saw him and his team not settle for anything. I’ve been watching him do that since the beginning. It’s not pairing the wrong picture. People have to follow those examples and not settle. Yes it’s hard but it’s not impossible. And I’m addition , we will try to make a video or videos to help the new comer realize that the time have changed in the box truck business with rates , gas’s prices and the Boxtruck business in general. Thanks again for your comment
@@TheBoxtruckCouple Yes Ma'am , you really have to operate smartly. I was not coming from a place of hate or anything like that it's just RUclips in General specifically has made box trucks blow up so much over the last two years that I just don't want people to think it's all big money out here from the jump and spending all their savings and putting their family in debt without knowing the 100% honest truth about how to successfully run and adjust with the current times. If you have to sit a day or two and only take certain loads your better off because your keeping your profit/expenses balanced out and on track. Most channels aren't being as transparent as they need to be with the current situations just continuing to show mostly only the good which in turn will make everyone want to jump in and the industry will take longer to level back out that's all I was trying to say. But anyways appreciate the content as usual.

So i just found out yesterday that Budget Truck rental are not doing any more commercial accounts. Even if I find a truck, Budget said they will not do any more commercial account for a least three months. The plan was to rent and save the money to buy. Penske wants $1200 a week, .35 cents a mile and $7500 down. So I'm thinking, if I work my but off for the next year or even just the next few months, i should have the money to buy a truck.
