I have been rescuing for 60+ years. I rescued a mother and daughter dachshunds 12 years ago. I lost the daughter December 6th 2023 she was12 years old blind and a diabetic. The 18th of December l rescued a chihuahua/ terrier mix 1 1/2 year old little girl. The 3rd of this month my 13 year old mother/dachshund past away. On April 10th l rescued a 2 year old male chihuahua. I can never replace those l lost but l can always opn my heart and home for anothe fur baby.
So you can’t take the time to spay your dog or take her to a local shelter, but you can drive out to a construction site and dump her? I’m so glad you found her in time!

Thank you! Every one needs fosters. People can shy away from it worrying they will not be able to let them go., The nice thing about fostering is that the organization/shelter pays for all of their food and medical care. Blessings!
Too many Huskies ending up stray or in shelters (to join all the Shepherds and Pitbulls...😢) Thanks, HFP, for finding and getting this good Mama who looks like she was ready to be saved to give birth in comfort.💕🐾🐶
For 2 main reasons. 1. Huskies are bred work dogs, so they have so much energy to burn. That means multiple long walks or big yards for them to run around and burn that energy. They aren't a lay around your small 1 bedroom apartment all day and a quick 5 min walk at night to pee and poop. If you leave them cooped all day they will probably start destroying the place because they need to get rid of that energy. 2. Huskies are highly vocal and not just barks. High pitch yelps and howls. So if the owner is not prepared that can grade on the owner. I love Huskies they are one of my favorite breed of dogs but I would never even think of getting one. I live in an apartment and I am no where near active enough to get them the level of activity they would need.

Husky Mallory knew her "den" was going to be a rough exposed spot to birth seven puppy dogs -- and she would be short of milk. HFPs was a BIG upgrade. ♡♡
