    Like the saying 'pick your fights'. I am delighted with your thoughts here and in several previous videos. You should always, when you have the freedom... make suggestions or share research you have done for the benefit of others. You have considered your diverse audience. Truth and problem solving is an art. So is getting the truth out there in a way it can help others and the Earth. People do have their own community priorities too. In my profession, path, research, People will listen once their needs are met. That is how I am able to teach clients and students. Meeting needs gets their attention to consider many more solutions, beyond their perceived need. You do all of this and more. Then I go on the idea that one cannot save the world, because there are a few who don't want to be saved. Actually, they are not at that point in their path. I say all of this to support your work, dreams, purpose. I too am alone in my own vision and service. But I can do nothing else. I am going to be blessed in the future to have a firmer foundation to work from, sharing my purpose with others. In that for me, a cooperation, there is a place found to work in and from. Beneficial wellbeing, a base for work, I will see how that turns out. The world is changing, slowly, not all towards the bad either. Your vision will help those ready to receive the help, heal those ready to be healed. I am ready to listen to your research from where I am at on my path. I thank you so much for your courage and research to share. ☀✨🌕

    100% on the sanitation and cleaning. I think a massive part of why Ghana, and other countries in Africa are behind, is because they just don't care about nurturing their public environments.

    It can start with the youth. If you can get a group of kids and their teachers engaged, so that they can learn about the environment and how we should all preserve it, recycling, etc. They can take it on as a school project. When you and Vinman finish your project, especially as beautiful as you keep your property, perhaps they may be inspired.

    Greetings Virtuous Queen!!! You and Vinman are blazing some serious, amazing and beautiful trails. I am particularly inspired and encouraged by how you regulate your mind, spirit and body to move forward with work when your husband may occasionally need to tackle a different project. That rural environment in Africa has to hit differently. As you focus on completing your luxury resort, I can already see your gifts making room for you at powerful tables (regardless of gender). I know folks can’t always handle the truth, but you have the right mindset on organizing group ownership around identifying and solving the waste problem. Salute to EVERYTHING you do to help turn chaos into order, opportunity and prosperity!

    ES I agree with some of the comments in the comments section.start with the young people first , formulate a plan of action, sections by sections.Ask them how they feel seeing the landscape littered with trash/ debris. Bring the awareness. ES I Believe you are on a Mission and your were guided there to Do, TO Create, To Bring Awareness, To Teach, To Lead, to guide. There are No coincidence in Nature."You are a Trail Blazer" ! I can see that very Clearly!!!. As Nike said " JUST DO IT"!!!!.

    Hallo ES, i love that you are showing the real place, the beauty, wealth of the land and the dirt. Systems are different and there is no comfort in dirt. People dont have money to continue doing work that should be tackled by the local authorities. There is a lot to learn about Africa, what colonization did and how the leaders are now being the biggest colonizers to their own. Embrace what you have and teach by example and you will be surprised at what will happen around you.

    It's not that they don't care about the environment it's a lack of local government participation. When people are poor the government doesn't invest in their neighborhoods. You can walk through any inner/ghetto city street in the USA, France etc and you will see filth. Why not be an organizer for the community and get a group of people together to recruit volunteers and begin cleaning up the place. Each one teach one mentality.

    • @TheRoxyB
      @TheRoxyB 9 месяцев назад +2

      Your point is a bit contradictory though. Here in the US yes there are areas that are filthy but the same government resources are made available as far as trash pickup and street cleaning. I watch people in those areas throw trash out of their cars into the streets. While on the contrary, I grew up in a small town in Jamaica with no government services but the people personally made efforts to keep the place clean. It’s the people first. It’s people who drop the trash. They walk by it daily and it eventually becomes their way of life. They wouldn’t keep inside their homes like that so that means we know better and can do better. Government has a role and that would be to facilitate making the process easier and more efficient. It’s hard for government to implement something like the desire cleanliness unless it’s by enforcing laws - which people tend to resist.

    i've always wondered about the piles of trash ... it's such a distraction and seems a simple thing to upkeep if systems are in place, but i hear you and finally understand the why. yes to the bees! when I saw them drinking a few videos back, i had hoped you'd feel the pull to at least consider beekeeping. 3 yrs into this fascinating hobby and i continue to be astonished at not only their life cycle, but how collectively they do everything for the betterment and survival of the hive. and their vibrations ... the hum, the roar, just the sound that once terrified me is now comforting and soothing. and es, the honey is far superior to any store bought "honey." no comparison. as always, love to you and vin man.

      @@DIYHOUSEANDFARM they most certainly are screaming, collect us! all they need now is a place to call home perhaps a tad closer to that precious water source. i'm sure a few girls (scouts) are searching the area for one. when their hive is ready to split or find better accommodations, they'll move in. initially, i was intimidated wondering what i'd gotten into, but i'm here for all the pollinators. and you're a creator, imagine all the things you can make w natural beeswax. and they come w a ton of lessons. 🐝

    We use to have a very strong sanitation inspectors call Nsamansaman when Ghana had responsible government, they were feared more than even the security forces, Ghanaians because of corruption don't have any respect for the government, what can be done is the traditional authorities, when they speak people pay attention, they could be use to solve this shameful problem.

    So sad to see the land trashed with garbage. I guess there is not a local government to insure the land and sanitation of the neighborhoods are kept up. I wonder if the local government could institute a cleanup day . If there are no trash receptacles, maybe the trash can be burned.

    Maybe if a clean up project is initiated with the idea of showing respect to the historical masjid, the community might embrace clean up as respect. In our Western mindset we are free to express innovation, for the betterment of the community. I think sometimes if people embrace it as a whole and they see its positive and will improve the environment change will happen.
    For instance, in Rwanda, President Paul Kagame has cleaned up Kigali to be known as the cleanest city in Africa. So it can be done, with the right leadership. Sis, you are just bringing awareness and it will benefit the whole enviroment and community n Larabanga. Like you said "Anything is possible".

    I wonder if because the culture is so family/home unit centered that the idea of maintaining public places isn’t a priority? That people don’t see much value in spaces outside their home?🤔 just a wild thought. I’ve also heard other RUclipsrs who travel complain that they wish Ghana would invest in public spaces like parks. But like you said in the end it’s the individuals. Because I’ve seen places here in the US with lots of government resources/laws still keep their public areas badly.

    It's unacceptablw to put certain things on social media or internet regarding how some people live their lives. People like to tidy up before their guests arrive. Arriving unannounced to see their mess is rude. Same way if you put their mess on camera for the world to see. I know in America everything gets filmed for ntertainment. People's lives are so empty that their fig us their family!
