WG never made a consistency now a days. They should make ammunition standards on their characteristics. AP: Decent Shell Velocity, Good AP Pen over distance, Good pen angles and only downside is AP Velocity never going to go faster than APCR rounds due to better shell weight. APCR: Light Shell Weight, High Velocity, Can pen enemies more at close distance. Loose Pen over distance more than AP do. Only good at shooting fast moving target. HEAT: Amazing (Greatest) Pen, No Penetration loss over distance, Can’t pass through walls, loose 50% penetration when hit the Space Armor Plate, Slow Shell Velocity. HE: Do a lot of damage on hit, can Splash enemies around the shell explosion radius, No Pen Loss over distance, Can’t go through walls, Poor Pen. HESH: All HE characteristics but it does have Shell normalization a little but. Not as good as APCR. Also I wanted to add this in just to make it explains on why some tanks have Premium high damage AP APHE: Do more damage than AP due to explosive filler, Slightly slower AP Velocity, less Pen loss over distance, Can normalization, Less pen than AP due to lower Velocity.
In Weegees defense muzzle velocity is not only related to the type of shell BUT in the case of non-Uk Cents they used the exact same brittish shell, historically the tanks should be clones.

I can't complain any longer, so well done Droodles. By the way, Stridsvagn 81 is a real tank delivered to Sweden 1953 and 1955 and it is a Centurion mk3 and m5. The only stuff missing now is swedish crew voices in the game.
You should probably compare it to the tech tree Centurion, after researching the modules it becomes a Centurion 3/1. The Strv81s were Centurion 3s with one or 2 things from the Mk.5 (gun stuff). The Mk.5 Centurions have that extra 50mm plate. And even if you compare it to the tech tree centurion, it is a "slightly" better version, not worth the crates at all.
i think they should make the alpha 250 which would attract more players as a gun based tank unlike its tier 10 counterpart that somehow misses easy shots.
So, won the tank in a draw for 50 gold, then did 2 other draws, got the camo on the third… so overall a cheap tier 8 at say 500 gold…plus i got the gold back from the crates in the draw. Today was not a bad luck day.
Thankfully I got it and it's camo for 15k gold( 10 boxes). I've played 33 games in it with a 1.28-1 damage ratio and I've got a 51.52% winrate ( I'm 53.25% over 89k battles). I've destroyed 25 tanks and been destroyed 22 times....gun is accurate and armour is troll...however then you take in the wargaming factor...in those 33 battles I've had 12 afks, 6 yolo queens and 116 late starters(including afks), this tank needs teammates, unfortunately wargaming gives me Russians who still go to town when they eventually wake up and start.....matchmaking needs to be sorted out, perhaps if the community comes together and spend no more money until mm is sorted, wargaming might start listening to us fed up players
You can convert some tech tree tanks to premium... For grinding credits... But it costs alot of gold. But there's an option... You can turn it into a premium for a short time, and it costs less gold as compared to turning into premium permanently
Got it after 5 crates, togheter with Kampe camo(both Strv 81 and camo in 5th crate) 2 crates for 5 euros bundle, got nothing, then bought the 3 crates+ 2.5k gold bundle for 10 euros and got the tank in the 3rd crate(5th crate if we count them all)
Feels like a lack of imagination that resulted in this tank. It's just too easy to reskin a current tank and adjust the stats a touch. Then stick it in crates and watch the money come in.
Well if you’re lucky on the first x2 $5.99 boxes your not an fool. I only risk it on the initial two and it works for me. And if not wait till Christmas
They gave Stridsvagn 81 for free😂, and the Strv 81 makes more credits than the cen bcs collector tank, and theres not much of a difference and it is possible to C.o.D (circle of death) with the 81
When you see a T49 can pen this thing you should know armor is not something this thing have lol. Basically a big leopard 1 in tier 8 and Centurion dingo Basically a E50M in tier 8 armor wise at least lol.
Did they say it's free? We all know how It ended last time we thought wg was going tò release a free t8, even if they didn't Say "it's free". I can't trust WG, in my opinion they are probably going ti guce us some projects for the tank, and selling the remaining in the store. So It will be just a discount on the tank. But obviusly we all hope It will be completely free.
@@alainmoscoso lol - dying in blitz for more dmg is totally worth it. Can't rely on nubs to carry. More damage = less enemy HP. Simple math. With all the nubs playing in blitz winrate is not so important anymore only damage per battle.
