What a pretty plant that is. Purple is my fave colour too. Before I sold my house had a garden full of purple flowers. Thanks for the share. Please take care
Found this stuff in my backyard along a shared fence with my neighbor. I just grabbed a few dozen of the ripe berries and harvested the seeds alone. Knowing now that they’re invasive (perhaps naturalized by now) I’m not sure I’m going to do any guerrilla gardening with them but they’re still a pretty vining flower.
Good job Cliff. It’s important that people know the poisonous plants, as they could have them in their yard where kids and pets are. I personally don’t use the poisonous plants even if they do have medicinal qualities as there are enough non poisonous plants out there that can do the job safely. I’m having so much fun watching your medicinal series and doing mine. I hope your memorial weekend was enjoyable 🤗
Just found this growing in my yard. It is pretty, with flowers and berrys. I sprayed it with vinegar to kill it. Hope it works. Don't want poison in my yard!

Eggplant has a larger version of that flower. Tomato, pepper, potatoes, tobacco, petunias, belladonna, datura and jimsonweed are all realated to.
Datura is jimsonweed
Really enjoying this series!
I love learning these things.
I never knew what is was. I was around it when I was a kid growing up in the country.
This is growing in my yard. Now I know.
Eggplant is also part of the nightshade family 😊
So are green bell peppers!
Thanks❤❤❤❤❤❤

The nightshade was used to help witches fly and channel visions

interesting 🧐
why would this be randomly growing all over my hedges ? front and back yard, in North America ? Would someone have planted this previous ?
I noticed bittersweet nightshade in my pond! How do we remove it?!
