One of the greatest Cherokee shuffles I’ve ever heard. Sutton’s “banjo killer” really does cut right through especially in the high end, and doesn’t hurt he’s incredible. Jim Hurst could really use more love in the acoustic world - guy is a master. Sutton, Grier, and Smith live so obviously in the rarified air its not even worth mentioning. All 4 of these guys are untouchable in their own way. This is the best IBMA workshop video I’ve ever seen.
