    What is ultra practical is the format, I can put the TV on top, unlike many hi-fi systems where you need more space, I also love the retro side and the sound quality must surely be at the rendezvous when you see the beast
    But I have a silly question, I like to have quite a lot of bass and I put it quite loud because I often receive friends at home, I listen mainly to rock, reggae and also metal and pop and so I need something that comes out well in all areas
    And I hesitate between two products, the new Klipsch The nines that just came out which seem to be of very good quality and send good sound, but unfortunately they take a lot of space, and this JBL
    Do you think there is really a huge difference between the two? I'm talking in terms of pure sound quality nothing else
    Considering the fact that where I live, the JBLs are only 1000 € on sale , while the new Klipschs are 2000 , double the price
    Thank you 🙏🏻

    Ended up going with the l-100 classic
    Got a killer deal. This may sound dumb but, what if you were to use this as a center channel/ let the wife use it with the eARC for streaming tv

    • @GramophoneMD
      @GramophoneMD  2 года назад +2

      You couldn't configure it for just center channel playback through eARC, it would just make it play stereo. Now if you are using a receiver or pre/pro that has a center channel channel preout you could run an RCA to 3.5mm into it and set it to aux and theoretically that could sort of work. However you'd have volume matching issues with your other speakers as you'd have both it's own volume setting and the volume of the preamp/receiver influencing it.

    I recently bought this speaker and it sounds so good, i have several speakers and i love this jbl, one question....i want to buy a streamer like fiio r7, how i connect it to this jbl 75? Thanks

    • @GramophoneMD

      No worries Jorge, the L75 has wireless Inputs for WiFi streaming and Bluetooth 4.2. It also has wired Inputs for HDMI ARC, ethernet, phono (MM), 3.5mm AUX - plenty of connectivity on board. Here is a link to the install manual as well: www.jbl.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-masterCatalog_Harman/default/dwd6c7c16e/pdfs/OM%20-%20JBL%20L75ms%20-%20rev1.0%20-%2020220201%20-%20EN.pdf

    What advantage does a ethernet connection give you?

      Generally faster, but certainly more stable/reliable internet and, or network connection. So for this thing it means more reliable internet sourced music.

    I have been really excited for this. Got the fives about 6 months ago…. This is way cooler. Also, wonder if you can go 3.5 from an external DAC to rca into the phono and it work. It should right? And would it bypass the internal DAC?
    Not a lot of info on this puppy yet

      Theoretically you could but at that point you are kind of defeating the purpose of the L75ms' inherent convenience. On top of that I highly doubt you could actually hear any benefit, the built in amps are great for the category, but crystal clear McIntosh or Classé separates they are not.

      This unit supports Bluetooth 4.2. They don't indicate anything I can see on the JBL site that indicates it supports apex HD codec
