    Listening to this I am compelled to think she saw the same qualities in her as she did Robyn. And maybe that's why she opened up to her so easily and trusted her.....

    As much as I loved Whitney this really proves as many as said, she had no control over her own management or finances

      I agree. I recently watched the Whitney biopic movie and learned two things:
      1. Whitney's family played a major role in her demise.
      2. Whitney should have hired a personal accountant and made it a priority to get monthly financial reports. When she saw how her family was using all her money, she should have fired them.

      I agree especially when Tiffany mentioned how they couldn’t fire her .one would think that decision would be up to Whitney .why would pat and them be responsible for hiring and firing anyone when whitney was the boss ?

    Yess! It's PRECIOUS!
    Moments like this remind me from when Whitney went to Kim Burrel's church, and everything that happened there... Worshipping God, speaking in tongues... You know, sometimes we were surprised at how spiritual she was.

    It's so important to hear that! I'd like you to talk about times when you were together talking about God, the Bible... I read about it, but wanted to hear more details! I appreciate that. ❤️
    God Bless!

    Pat Houston demoted her. They didn't like people close to Whitney, because they didn't want Whitney to tell the real.

      Same situation, different decade - (according to Robyn, this was her experience too). i.e. Management all up in their feelings whenever Whit was close to someone. They prolly felt they were being protective, but sounds more like control, thereby isolating her from folks who genuinely cared about her. Sigh...

    • @Californiatraveler805
      @Californiatraveler805 3 года назад +7

      @@Msk-wb1yg I understand the protection part, but this seems to be more of jealousy and also them not wanting people to see the nasty side of the family

      @@Californiatraveler805 yep jealousy too... Robyn said they did the same thing to Sylvia. Thankfully, whit put her foot down and reminded management she da boss! 😁

    Blessings Beautiful Tiffanie. Thank you for being there for Whit. It's good to know there were some ppl in her life that allowed her to just BE Whitney. I was greatly impacted by her life. First in an unhealthy way as I made her an idol but then later in a powerful way upon my surrenderingy life and pursuit of a music career to the Most High. I prayed endlessly for her to be restored. Not as much concerned for her career but her soul. You made her beauty extra brilliant. I'm glad you have those memories. My grandfather was in the industry and has met her a few times even having dinner with her. I look at his picture with her at times. He had been looking for a way to get me the opportunity to meet her AND Clive ( glad that Clive thing didn't happen but it never took place. I love your spirit and account of her. It says a lot about you too. Yahusha/ JESUS bless you.

    Thank you so much for sharing this with me. The way you describe Whitney seems very authentic and you painted the picture so well... it was easy to imagine things playing out. I like this version of my icon...not just the superficial and glamor but the human condition. Rip Whitney 🙏

    So Robin came out with a memoir of their early years where she explained their friendship and physical relationship. I don't think people are saying Whitney was a lesbian, she might have been bi or just a bit flexible/experimental. Even her mom said she wasn't sure which I think says a lot, as she herself was extremely homophobic. Either way you're right, you can tell she was one of the only people that really wanted good for Whitney, she never came out with any gossip or did anything than support her in her career. The memoir she finally made seemed tasteful and very real my opinion.
