This guy seems interesting, he should open a bunch of youtube channels each with a different theme to discuss.
Agree !
🤣 thought you were new here till the 2nd half of your post, when i realised you were being /s
Yeah, like 17 of them.
He did leave Top Tenz which was founded by another guy.
To be truly successful in this venture, he’d have to keep a team of outrageously talented writers captive in his basement. Allegedly.
Excellent closing statement Mr Whistler.
Glad you enjoyed it!
He should rename himself Simon the pied piper, to draw all to his many million channels lol.
@ThatWriterKevin Your script is awesome, Simon's presentation is brilliant and Aspen's editing is marvelous. You guys do a GREAT JOB! Keep it up!
@@MegaAU thanks! 💕
Priorities eh?
That last bit of info about the cost of launch for India's rover, blew my fucking mind!!!
I'll betting that India will be sending manned-mission to the moon before Russia.
2040 according to the latest announcements
Kevin good job on recognizing that Russia has yet to have a successful moon mission
$75m to get to the f@%$ing moon. The way the HS2 budget's blown out, I'm guessing that's the cost of an escalator at Euston Station.
Well... Yes, but... I don't think that covers the actual engine, I'm afraid.
Bring back the British space program!
Good luck. For $75 Million you'll be lucky to get STAIRS!
😂
Just puts it into perspective so much more how insane it was that we put people on the moon 5 decades ago.
WAIT A MINUTE!!! How did I not know about this channel in the Simon Whistler- verse
It was renamed a few months ago.
I just found it too! Squee!
He starts a new channel every few days 😄
Don’t worry! You’ve just entered the splintered off time line where you’re your own grandmother
Now you have something to catch up on!
If multiple countries send people to the moon then the BEST thing they can do is to place their bases close to each other because then each base can also provide emergency support to the other bases which is an important consideration.
"If multiple countries send people to the moon then the best thing that they can do is to place their bases close to each other." Yeah it's so not because they can then spy on each other!" It would be like Desperate housewives: "Space edition!"
@@wendycregan2147 I guess you haven't been paying attention to the I.S.S. which is still in orbit and still manned by Russians and the U.S. at the same time despite our differences. In environments where death is so close and help is so far away, there's a reason to put politics aside.
And more social options 😂
"But it was hard for the government to justify the spending," he said, with a straight face....
Imagine being able to go to the moon just to bring all of Earths abominations to it. Like the moon really needs Reality TV or somethin...
Go India!

Somehow new to this channel but I'm loving it ❤
Keep it up my man!
Glad you enjoyed!
He has about 50 million more good channels.
@@rjswas i know most of them ;)
Still, it's weird how 90% of my favs on RUclips are science related AND as i said i already knew the Simon-Kevin ⭐ team but this channel was never recommended to me until now
@sadderwhiskeymann9782 oh okay, interesting, I just went to his channel and followed all the ones that interest me in his channels tab, anyway hop you like it.
Welcome to the Simonverse 🎉
Just found a new Simon Whistler channel!!!
It's like an Easter egg hunt 😊
Hope you enjoy!
Best cost comparison ever Mr Whistler.
Simon, glad you're still uploading to this channel. Excellent topic today, and I enjoyed it!
13:00 uh, what's the point of censoring the second f-bomb if you don't bother censoring the first one?
Oopsed it.
I was about to raise the same question
Bravo india👏👏👏
Sweet! One of Simons channels with Simon hosting! ❤
No joke but india is GOAT
Props for being as impartial as usual. A lot of people would have used the Luna-25 as a way to get some easy jabs in there for clout.
Maybe India doesn't let their contractors have an endless pocket to pick.
Getting the costs down is quite a achivement by itself, so go India!
Propose to mesure blockbusters cost in Chandra-3 cost. So now we know that "Barbie: the Movie" cost two Chandra-3! Which mean it is much more cost effective then Hollywood production movie. 😂
Due to sanctions Russia had to design an imu from scratch. But they were pressed for time , and there was a software glitch.
And the Indian lander didn’t wake up. But was nicely successful in every way.
❤
Give this man 5 million and let him build content with full control. Promise you he will quadruple your investment. ❤❤❤❤
He has, he has 5 million other channels lol.
Hell of an parting sentence there, Simon.
Don’t forget South Korea, also wants to land on moon. The general consensus on chinese internet discussion is; India is number one in universe, South Korea is number one on earth.
They should explore how many goddamn channels Factboi have on YT
To me the present race to the Moon isn't merely limited to Russia and India (as evidenced by the USA's Artemis program and China's various plans). The reason for it also seems pretty obvious to me. The lunar mare, the dark spots on the near side, are covered in what are called "KREEP basalts." The acronym stands for Potassium Rare Earth Element Phosphorous. It is those rare earth elements that countries wish to explore and "access."
Mind you, that even though I think that some of the problems people bring up in regard to space mining are exaggerated, or are not well thought out, I will still readily admit that it is not economically viable to mine Rare Earth Elements on the Moon. As valuable as REEs are, prices are nowhere even remotely high enough to justify mining them anywhere in space including the Moon (IMO only the platinum group metals are valuable enough to possibly warrant that). No, the reason why this space race is happening is, at least partly, because of the benefits having strategic access to such minerals.
If there is water on the moon and the moon was once part of the Earth, there could be life in that water just waiting to start...
Simon, how many channels DO you have?
I like how Fucking Moon wasn't censored but Fucking Barbie Movie was.
Simon literally runs youtube at this point
that part i didnt kniw 😮 75mil for going to moon??? that is about 10km of 4 lane highway on flat terrain here where i live
It's pretty insane how cheaply India was able to pull it off
Well i may be ignorant here (i haven't studied the socioeconomics of India) but i wasn't expecting anything else from such a poor country. These ppl are in my mind very ingenious and can take advantage of every little thing in order to succeed. I'm happy for them
It's worth noting that the average monthly wage in India is 200 bucks. That tends to keep costs down. The people building your road probably made that much money every day.
@@backcountry164 sad but true... but anyway i was expecting 200-300mil but not 75
What a GOAT. TY Blaze Boy.
Let's take a momenet to appreciate the fact that Simon did parts of this upload from inside a spaceship.
13:11 Yeah; but was Margot Robbie on board?
One wonders how far we would’ve gone had we kept going from Apollo.
75 million? Isn’t that a quarter of the last Indiana Jones movie….at least Barbie made a profit 😅
Until we can travel at the speed of light, which will never happen, space is 🌈😂
In a way it's sad. They have so many frames of Simon they don't really need him any more. They can easily interpolate any posture, gesture, turn of phrase ... maybe a shaved version ... I like Simon though ... even he would be interested in the shaved version
Go to the moon for the same price as TWO railway sleepers on HS2😂
That's one small step for Vladimir Putin... one giant error for the Luna-25 rover.
$75million?!? What the fudgsickles!!! How the balls did they do that???!
All the Indian scientists only make 500 Rupees a day...
@@StreetPreacherr The starting salary in ISRO is INR 600,000 p.a.
That's why 30% of indian leads fortun 500 companies 😂
Isro annual budget is 1.5 billion dollars
half the barbie movie? it's early, but thanks to Simon, wouldn't pointing out it's less than 1/10th the price of HS2 be even more dramatic? I mean the barbie movie did get finished...
Yeah, but the Barbie movie did better at the box office and generated over a BILLION dollars in PROFIT! I don't think India has earned ANY money from this mission yet? I mean it doesn't even look like they sold any advertising livery to put on the ship... And maybe a nice 'Budget Rental Car' logo on the side of the Rover would have looked cool!
@@StreetPreacherr HS2 is the British high speed rail that's cost a billion and I don't even think anything has been done but buying land and shortening the route
Doesn't bleep "fucking moon"
Immediately bleeps "fucking Barbie movie" 😂😂😂
4:26 How can water be a renewable resource when there’s no atmosphere?
There is an atmosphere, just not very thick or pressurized.
Yeah, what this guy said. @@RainingAnarchy
What if they discover the Ark with Sentinel Prime ?
I remember watching Indian media when Chandrayan III successfully landed on the moon. Indians were estatic about it.
Fucking great
Yeah, Our mothers use a toothpaste tube until it looks like it was in hell, We are the country of cost-cutting, the problem is this statement goes both ways, good and bad, And our govt and media want us to die fighting each other😂😂😑🤣🤣
Just week ago. Indian PM Modi announced that 👇
Indian Astronaut to Space own fully Indian system by 2025. India Space station by 2035 & Indian on Moon by 2040
If I had a nickel for every time Russia started a race to the moon, only to lose to a competitor that everyone thought would never catch up, I'd have...
No use for them. We don't use nickels here. Where am I going to keep all these nickels?
HaHa Excellent Closing statement. Shows ISRO & India's capabilities..
Holy shit! It was that cheap!
They better land near so can rescue the rover china sent
How did they pick where the poles of the moon are
Did they send the Indians to clean up China's debris?
@@StreetPreacherr not that I know of but said as in get china rover to be able to run again
The secret of isro is cost effective🙌
I stand with russia n isreal
Ok then, Brain Boy. If you have a Better way to make a Barbie movie, let's hear it!

Or decoding the brain, or decoding simons brain so we know how the fk he manages so many channels without blazing out
@@rjswas it's cuz he really loves $$$$$$
@@7-ten True, but hey, who doesn't these days.
Of course it cost india less, there the only people to show china up with being cheap
13:00 Simon, feels like you are using discount people for this channel.
A number of times the research was very lacking and made mistakes that could have been avoided by a couple of minutes of googling and now the editor forgot to bleep out one "fucking", quite a problem in the current youtube climate.
Anything non-binding is meaningless.
jesus fact boy how many channels do you have??? im waiting for the decoding the unknown episode about you not being a real person and just and AI program LOL
Russia vs India in the Simonverse is Casual Criminalist vs Decoding the unknown 😂👍🏻
I think how much movies cost to make are super inflated
just how many chanels does this bald guy run?
Rather go to the moon without a spacesuit than, watch a Barbie Movie.😂
This lander did not land on the lunar south pole. Please don't spread this misinformation.
Yeap it laneded on your face 🤣
Yo
So what you're saying is we need Margot Robbie to be a real life Astronaut Barbie and go to the Moon to get more funding for lunar exploration?
No
That's not what I was saying, but I'm not saying it wouldn't work either
@@ThatWriterKevinGreat Brain Blaze episode today. I was not ready for Simon's "BuhDumdum".
Lorelei did a great job with editing that episode
@@ilajoie3She always does!
Barbie movie made £1.12bn though. Just saying
What if earth is just acting as a moon to other planets elsewhere and those stuffs crashing into earth is just one of their projects also trying to get to their moon just like we are doing also ?
That is extremely moronic, lol!
You're saying this hypothetically, you don't actually think this is a possibility right ?
...where would those planets be?

I believe they also have some black people, like many parts of Asia, but I don't know if they belong to peoples with current African lineages or are just remnants of ancient migrations that never evolved lighter skin tones.
Nothing left to do????

There is so much left to do on Earth.
I like the part end part it costs fucking half the budget of the fucking barbie movie
