Preach! Exactly! My mother got my ears pierced when I was still a baby, probably at 01 month old already.
But I CHOOSE not to get my daughter’s ears pierced (she’s 16mo now). When she was 2mo I was debating if I should, but now I’m very content with my decision not to get her ears pierced.
I’ll leave that to her when she’s 16 years or so

My parents had mine done for my first b day and I'm grateful for it too because i dont remember it and as i got older i loved wearing earrings. I was also grateful that i didn't have to go thru taking care of them while they heal and don't remember them being sore and so to me was awesome!! At the end of the day. You're right. Your the parent's! 🙂💖 Skye and mom soooo cute in their matching outfits. Adorable she is!! 💖🙂

I really wish that stores in the mall were not able to do piercings. Skye is adorable, and her earrings will only add to that, when and if she gets them done.
There is no need to explain or justify your choice to get YOUR daughter's ears done.
I nursed both my girls while they got theirs done. Worked like a charm!
I don’t, our parlor piercings are the only ones that didn’t heal and kept causing problems. I wish I didn’t listen to all the ones saying parlor is best. Womp womp womp.
@KP-nk7fo More often than not, it is not the parlor nor the piercers' fault for healing. It is the customers responsibility to follow the aftercare, which is provided when the piercing is done. I am not saying this is the case 100% the time. I've had all of my piercings done at the same parlor by the same amazing woman.
I had an industrial done on my left ear and nose done at the same time 10-12 years ago. My nose healed absolutely fine and still have it. My ear, however, rejected the ring. We tried all we could, but it was not meant to be.
It had nothing to do with the parlor. It was my body's choice.
I also had my belly button done when I was about 15/16 years old. Hands down the worst I had without a doubt.
Belly buttons are notoriously difficult for healing. Give it a thought as to why.
The problems I had were from laparoscopic surgeries, 8 in fact. In lieu of my button, my left nipple was done. Two pregnancies, breastfeeding, pumping, etc. beautifully.
Both my daughters had their ears done by our spectacular piercer, Erin.
It is unfortunate you had issues as well.

My grandmother got my ears pierced at 2 months old behind my parent’s backs . She said the earlier you get your babies ears pierced then the less fear there would be to an ear gun and luckily babies are too young to remember only the happy moments when you take your first baby picture with earrings . You are never too young to get your ears pierced as long as you get a very good professional and make sure they are the right earring specialist for your baby

my parents pieced mine at a early age and i’m so glad they did it when they did instead of when i could remember the pain from it.

I got mine pierced when I was in 2nd grade and I wish I would've gotten them earlier. Being that age and trying to have a smooth healing process wasn't ideal. As a baby, you can keep track of the healing for her.
I havent worn earrings in a couple years and i still have the hole. Same with my lip. BUT it is up to you and i fully support
Oh, she also did modeling from that age till about six, so much fun to do with her

But, I am curious if for the future you’d consider dropping cute nursing bras too for nursing moms! I still cannot find a comfortable perfect bra. Y’all should go to a tattoo parlor to get your daughters ears pierced.I got my second ears pierced at a tattoo parlor and it didn’t hurt at all.And you get to take her piercing out in four months if she gets her ear pierced. And you change it to a different earring. Hope that helps when the time comes for her to get her ears pierced and it is cheaper to get them done at a tattoo parlor then Claire’s

I’m so thankful my mom let me decide when I wanted mine. I got em done at 7. I got to choose my earrings as well so that was fun. Definitely couldn’t pierce my babies ears 😂 I’d cry!

When feeding your baby food you shouldn’t have them strapped in, incase they choke it’s easier to get them out quicker.
If she is allergic to egg you should add it in small amounts to foods to help her grow out especially if it’s not an extreme allergy or it could get worse without exposure xxx

Do what you want to do with your kid it is YOUR kid!! My 4 year old daughter keeps saying she wants hers done. Don't defend yourself! Just since you show your life on social media doesn't mean anything. She is so precious and you guys are great parents! ❤
Also, my 3 year old son is allergic to eggs. He got an allergy test @ 6 months since he was breaking out and has excema and he's allergic to eggs & peanuts but has just recently started to be able to handle baked eggs in cookies, baked goods etc. Hopefully she can outgrow it!
