    Hi there. I have a small question about resistors. I’m trying to fix something and therefore I need to add more resistors in the circuit as the ones there are in a now turn black and get really hot. I’ve asked a friend and he suggested to add 4 0,25W 10K resistors, but I don’t have enough space for that. I’m not a very technical person so I don’t know much about it so therefore I reached out to you. Is there a way I can add 1 bigger resistor with a different value in this circuit instead of adding the 4 ones i got suggested? I would also like to know what value I would need. I’m looking forward hearing from you. Greetings from the Netherlands! Sander

    Sir in a conductor atom are also work as resistors bcaz they also resist the flow of charge (electrons) but I often notice that in the circuit there are signs of resistance and one can say that here the 2 resistors of 3 ohm or 4 resistors of 5 ohm whatever but why the people do not count the value of resistance of atoms why sir?? Please clear my this doubt

    • @Huzaifa1999
      @Huzaifa1999 3 года назад +1

      Resistance offered by atoms is termed as internal resistance which is much lower as compared to external resistance applied...Hence while theoretical classes u neglect it but when we work practically we can't do that...Hope this works 🙂

    I have a question if i connect 4 resistors 100 ohms each in parallel will the ohms increase to be 400 ohms please tell me

    • @musiclover0280
      @musiclover0280 2 года назад

      resistors in parrallel decrease the net value of resistance. In your case, the net will become 25 ohms.

    • @Profmad
      @Profmad  Год назад

      That's correct. The resistance will decrease when connected parallelly.

    Series resisters reduce the voltage not current. But in parallel resisters current will drop but voltage will be same.
