I do agree that they're hard to get. You can find Red Stars no matter your star count but here? You need to specifically have 120 or more Yellow stars for them to appear, and they appear in various places that are hard to notice or easy to miss, especially the one behind the window in Nebula Lobby or the Parallel Backyard one. There's no in-game indication that you can find and collect Green Stars at all, which makes things more harder tbh, but I guess that's B3313 experience for ya!
@@LemonLover110and considering the amount of maps in b3313 + there being only 13 green stars, its even harder to find the specific level those green stars might be in
In the parallel backyard, the french streamer Farod, who made me discover this rom hack, took 5 minutes to climb this particular and buggy castle roof. Since he didn't have 120 stars, the green one wasn't there and he was sad there was "nothing" on that roof. I demand justice to Farod 😂
@@h_b_g_4 Yeah i'm pretty much done with guides and with the hack itself. This may or may not be my last video about B3313 to be honest but we'll see.
Green Stars aren't used for anything; they're just an additional collectables that appear after collecting 120 stars. You can get this version either on www.romhacking.com and patch it using FLIPS or Parallel Launcher, or by going to benedani.xyz/b3313/ and patching it there.
My only guess as to why it's like that is because they couldn't implent it properly like how they did with Yellow or Red stars, but what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@LemonLover110It’s a stylistic choice afaik. I’m pretty sure they used to just be green recolors of the yellow 2d stars like the red stars but they changed it to the 3d model.
Looks like you got unlucky with Level Scaling effect from Yellow Switch. Try pressing that again and see if you can collect it now, if not, try pressing again and repeat the steps until it works. Pretty stupid that they put a Green Star there specifically if you ask me since this can happen, and an average player wouldn't even know if it was from a Yellow Switch or not.
Ok i was not expecting an answer talking about something so obscure to this game, so I really appreciate it! I guess the whole level scaling thing caused the red coin star in wet or dry to not be obtainable for me as well as it just spawned out of bounds when I got it. So that and this green star means I “100%ed” the game with 448/450 stars… still really like the game but man im not sure i can recommend 100% unless you REALLY like the game.
@@thelegendarybootleg4 months later and here I am again. You can actually get to that star if you got unlucky with Level Scaling if you stand on the top of the Wing Cap Box and wait for a moment. No idea if this will ever be helpful to you, but I'm commenting this just in case. Have a great day!
I'm the one who put that star there. I ran into the invisible wall in testing, and so decided that instead of a wing cap box, I'd just put in a yellow box with a 1-up, but put a coin on top of the box as a hint that you should stand there, and then a teleport would take you to it. Chris L (the main dev) changed something that was supposed to fix the invisible wall and then changed it back to a wing cap, but left in the coin and teleport. I'm glad that it's still there as an option, because when I tested it every other time after the first, flying worked just fine.
Yes! In fact, they only appear after you collect 120 Yellow Stars but they're pretty tricky to find; that's what I made this guide for if it wasn't obvious enough.
Not sure what you're exactly meaning by this as I cross-referenced my video with the wiki and the number of green stars there is 13, just like in the video.
hats off to getting these, they're even harder than the red ones because you dont even have an in game counter! x_x

They’re basically like the green comet stars from Mario Galaxy 2.

despite never having watched a guide before this i was only missing 3 of these stars which im suprised by
I find it strange how the green stars are 3D models instead of billboard sprites.
Agree.
You had a hell of a lot more luck getting that damn parallel lobby star than I did. In fact, you're the only reason I'm still trying to get it.
I believe there's a switch nearby the top that I missed in the video that allows you to get there much easier.

Huh, i though they were an simple corruption of the yellow stars, but now i know they're basically Stars with Sneak 100
Yeah, green is the perfect color for the secret stars if the default is yellow. 😂

What are green stars used for?

the hell why are they 3d the one green star from 0.9 was 2d and had its own collect sprite and animation how did green stars progress backwards

I dont know why but the lunar tower one has an invisible ceiling and i cant get it
