This is Bird playing at 60, 70 % at best and he's still lighting it up, if this man's back didn't cave in on him it's scary to think the numbers he would have put up, definitely winning at least one more MVP award, what an excellent all around basketball player
Wetting jumpers all day, and the all-around game always incredible. Without the serious injuries, Larry could've easily played at great level until he was close to 40. Thanks for the upload.
Larry putting on a clinic. Great post!
I love these old Bird highlights
Larry bryd was the 2nd coming of superman.period-the purest, accurate shooter ever there was.june2020.
O
Miss this brand of NBA ball. Bird was broken down by this point but he still lit these mobags up like a Christmas tree. Nobody even attempts full court passes over defenders fingertips like this anymore. Parish says 5000 of his career points are attributable to Bird's expert passing.
Seen Maravich "roll the ball"on long passes, but Lou Hudson refused to catch it,said"thats not basketball"Never seen it since?
My favourite player of all time
5:35 another classic Bird QB Touchdown Throw. The accuracy is impeccable.
Also a good post route run by Parrish lol
Spacial recognition is super human
"You guys don't understand, Larry is the best SF ever...by far!"--Michael Jordan
This injured Larry Bird with a bad back and knees and old and still scored 43 points smh
I’d take a broke back Bird over anyone currently in the NBA
3 thumbs down? Must be lakers fans.
Richard Carden... or 76'er fans!
I'm a Laker fan and Larry was the best!!!!
I'm a Celtics fan and think Magic is the best ! We both think that way because we get it !
Reggie would have been the next great Celtic
Wouldve gave the Bulls all they wanted, that's for sure...
@Chris Paschal heartbreaking still in 2020 :(
Reggie gave MJ fits. With Bias and Reggie as the leaders, and Bird, Parrish and Mchale as the supporting cast, they could have taken a ring or two from Jordan
This is broken back, hobbled Larry still takin' the kids to school!
Yep!
Grew up with this. Always drove me nuts when Parrish at 7'0" would take a soft layup... Still does LOL
Parish looked old even back in 90.
sendai slasher he was 37 at that time!
I didn't realize Sam Bowie was still playing at this point in time...
Can you show the rebounds as well please?
CHIEF was giving Ronnie Bowie
DA BIZNEZZ
1:26 , for a moment there i thought that guy dribbling up court was some really heavy set guy, looked way out of place for a second there.
Hakeem 34 Olajuwon actually, John Bagley was pretty portly, for an NBA Player....
In my opinion the dunk shot is a terrible waste of time. I really miss the great passing of Larry Bird and others and it takes real skill to make the great variety of shots that he made look so easy. Today, dribble-dribble and dunk---me, me, me.
Silly Larry hurt his back shoveling gravel at his mothers house during the off season. Had he not hurt himself Michael Jordan would have had to wait 10 more years for Larry to retire before winning championships & gaining MEGA $Million Nike contracts.
I tell you what, Chris Morris hasn’t got a clue.” 😂 -Tommy Heinson
Awesome right
