I just got 1 in December. Had no idea it came in a low.... love this bike as I'm a short guy. Just ordered reverse gear for it. Can't wait to have that !!😎
Butch Thomas By the way I bought an Ultra Limited Low and love it. Even though I am 5' 10.5" it feels great. I am an older rider so the ease of handling at slow speeds mean something.
Great video, I just picked up a 2016 Ultra Limited Low, really loving it. I have a question for you since I can’t get a straight answer from any of my lock dealers. Will the Center Stand listed on the HD website fit and work with the Ultra Limited Low? And if so do you have any idea where I can find one? Thanks.......
Nice video Question please: i am 5'11" 195 pound I which to purchase the FLHTKL DEMO with 7000$ extra on it over all I am saveing over 10000$ Should I purchase a FLHTK regular price and modify as I go du to my hight this will be my first FLH PLEASE LET ME KNOW
craig sperry Yes, you compromise overall ride comfort on the Low Version compared to the standard Limited. The seat has less padding and less travel in the suspension.
I believe the rear suspension is .7'' lower, and the seat is somewhere around 1.7'' lower , not positive, but there is moreheight taken out of the seat than the suspension. These figures might not be exact , but I'm pretty sure they are close.
You actually did what you said and pointed out the differences. Most folks make a vid and are so full of preamble or minutiae and never get to the point. Of the many vids claiming to show the differences, yours was the only one that did. I reposted on my facebook so that others could benefit...
zeallistic I thought they did. I went and did some research and found out that I was mistaken. It does look like the classic would thou because the fairing lowers look like the one's on the ultra to me.
Jacob James yea, at first glance they look similar but look closer and you will notice that they are merely storage compartment like they have been for years prior to Project Rushmore.
I have one and although I really like the bike, I hate that the rear wheel is offset. Not sure if there is some dumb reason behind this but it looks like it was thrown together, IMO. I hate this kind of stuff and EVERY Low that I have checked since buying mine are all the same...offset. Harley needs to fix this! If I wanted to ride a bike looking like it was thrown together, I would have built my own. Rant over! LOL! Great video, BTW...
Thanks. Answered my question and made me realize I do not want a limited low. Glad I decided to inquire before just buying one.
Thanks great help, that's more info than i can get from most salespeople. I bought one Love it still rides better than my past bike
+craig sperry Awesome Glad to hear! And Thank you.

Butch Thomas Awesome. Yea, they definitely have their place among shorter riders. I'm glad you like it.
I khow I'm late to the party. But would the seat on the low work on older ultra's?

Is there there much difference in the comfort of the seats. Looks like less padding .

How much lower are the shocks on the Low? 1 inch?

I have a 14 Electra Glide Limited
Both the limited and the classic have water cooled heads
Jacob James That's incorrect. The FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic DOES NOT have the Twin Cooling (water cooled heads)
