I am still loving the podcast! Thank you for you two being YOU!!!! Much love!
Becca you are a great teacher. Love your videos
Hey, Becca & Ian!
Darn! I missed the Live. I could blame Donna-I hit the couch and promptly dozed off-but THAT would be WRONG! 🤣
As you know, I tend to ramble on, so I’ll TRY to be brief:
Ian…Yes, it’s so true. Everything happens for a reason. As Becca knows, I’m going through a major change this year. She may choose to share this with you.
Becca…IMHO, your vision for your channel makes perfect sense. You-and your channel-are evolving as it should. As a newbie, you did box openings and short tutorials. You dropped the box openings when you became tired of them, and you recognized that that content area was Being covered by many others. As I see it, dropping the box kits and focusing on developing your own patterns is the natural progression. FYI Can you believe that your Friday Lives are typically hovering around 1000 viewers in the chat?!
Your clear titles and playlists are huge factors in viewership. I follow one bag maker who simply numbers her videos. As a result, I often skip them in favour of others.
Audio Podcasts? YES, please! They are bound to draw viewership to your channels. BTW, I was cleaning my kitchen cupboards during this replay. I’d love to be able to auto play episodes of your audio podcasts. 😁 Curious…is there capability to go back and convert all of your previous Sew Off Kilter videos?
Thank you both, and stay well!
Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
Thank you. I just love your videos.
Or in Washington State. Phoenix is the closest to me and now that am retired, am GOING!!!! Thank the Lord I have a brother in Arizona I can stay with and go to Quilt Con for the 1st time.
I love this chat so much. So inspiring!
I love watching you two together❤
We can't wait to see this!
Another great podcast. Love y'all''s plans for 2025. I LOL'd at the South of the Border mention - it's been forever since I've been there. I grew up in NC and we would drive to Fl several times a year stopping at South of the Border every time.
I love your podcast!! You guys are hilarious!!
Just love you guys!
You two are a lot of fun to watch live. Hope you will do some lives.
Another great chat! You 2 are fun together and I love both of your quilts! I still really really really want to make the Atomic Starburst quilt. 🥰
I always enjoy listening to your chatting together. ❤❤ lovely relationship
Thanks for keeping me company. Love the podcasts!
Thank you for another great podcast. I have had a pretty rough start to the year, listening to your podcast made my day and switched my thoughts to a more positive mindset 👏🏻❤ I have written down Ian’s comment - Everything happens for a reason! So I can refer to it often
My husband is from Detroit and we live in Central KY. Those 4 hours on 75 through Ohio feels like forever. Lol
I love the two quilts!
Ian, I bought the pattern of the quilt your wearing a bit ago. My thoughts with the pattern is to use my Nightshade Tula fabric. I’ll be using the same fabric as you for the background. It’s all just sitting until I have time to tackle it.
Ian's missing link?? Perhaps Ian could really sink into his love of Tula - big print tutorials, how to pick and choose from her different collections (eg to dodge the florals). I haven't seen any other channels that really drill down into her fabrics, and lots of people seem to be nervous about ruining it.
Just a thought that may spark another thought ...
I'd watch that! Can there ever be too much Tula? Ummm no. New and fun ways to Tula....endless content there! And you know her fans are many!
Great idea
Great podcast! Nice quilts.
South of the border omg. Been there many times
Hello Becca and Ian! Watching you from Canada❤️🇨🇦
Me too! Chilliwack BC🇨🇦
Beautiful quilts on your laps.
Love the quilts
1:03:05 I live in Houston and my parents are in Pensacola. I’ve driven the I-10 corridor for almost 40 years and let me say that Louisiana is a big fat state too!! So I get your Ohio thoughts.
Will you be at the lancaster quilt show, it's near me too. Almost my backyard
Love your podcast!
I do paper crafts and just started sewing.
Greetings Becca, Ian, and everyone!
Great job guys. Love listening to you guys.
Hello Becca, Ian, & Friends🫶
Becca your sound is going in and out
Love the new sign off (hope it's a keeper lol) 😀
Ian, where were you able to take the developing the FPP pattern class I've been looking! I think it's funny this year is my "year of kits" cause I have to many 😂. Houston quilt fest is great! I've been two years but they changed the dates and I won't be able to go now 😕. I drove from CA to DC and back. I did AZ, NM, TX all in one day, stopped in OK. It was a long day.
Another great podcast. Driving between Orange California and Las Vegas there is an offramp for Zzyzx Road. We always watched for it and called it "need to buy a vowel" road.
Hello from central Illinois 🧵🪡🙂💙
A sad time for ion was the way he was treated at the Texaa quilt show.
Becca …. A couple times I’ve heard you say you buy sewing machine needles in bulk. Would you please let me know where?
Ian could add more videos on bag making, especially with tula
ha ha, funny ending. thx
Love the program. Just a mention, that blind behind your heads is hard on the eyes.
Life is what happens while you are busy making plans.
