  • In this sermon produced by 3ABN, Shelley Quinn will share from the Bible a sermon about what the Bible says about Hell. Many believe that God is mean and unfair because of the false teachings surrounding the topic of Hell and what happens to sinners. But who goes to Hell? Is Hell happening now? Where is Hell? How long does Hell last? And what does the lake of fire spoken of in Revelation have to do with Hell? Join Shelley as she digs deep into scripture to study this topic and reveal the real truth about Hell.

      @@gordo191 How do you know for sure? Jonah was able to pray from sheol. Jesus spoke of the place like people can interact with each other as Lazarus and the rich man. And the Psalms like 139 mention if I go down to the depths, You are there.
      It is not a topic you should pretend to know the answer to because scripture is inconclusive in that area. It is not for us to know what sheol is really like and the Bible is unclear. Sometimes hinting that there may be consciousness there and other times hinting that everyone is unconscious there.

    34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
    35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

    Spoken very well,❤ I still have one last question I would really like to understand. When everyone is resurrected, those who in Revelation 21: 8 go to the lake of fire, Mark 9:48 speak about where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. What does this mean?
    are the burning in the lake of fire for ever? (Can anyone answer this.)

      God spoke about the fire of Sodom and Gomorroh kindling forever. Is Sodom still burning? No. It burned until God's judgment was complete. God is going to recreate the world, so the earth could not be recreated, if sinners are going to be burned forever. Forever means that they will not exist any more.

      Anyone using the Old Testament to prove soul sleep is immediately exposed when they understand Christ words.
      Luke 16:27-31 declares that some people are so blinded by false doctrine, *that even if one came back from the dead and told them of the torment, they still would not believe as the Adventist's don't believe either.*
      Luke 16: 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
      28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, *lest they also come into this place of torment.*
      29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
      30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
      31 And he said unto him, If they *hear not Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.*
      *In Christ's explicit words, he declares that Moses and the Prophets ( that's the entire Old Testament ) teaches both the immortality of the soul and the torment of the wicked immediately after the death of the body.
      Beware lest this scripture be fulfilled in you as it was in the Adventists before you.
      Here's the bottom line, what absolute fool would dare ignore Christ's warning that the entire old testament teaches the punishment of the soul immediately after death? What absolute fool, would dare ignore Christ's warning not to be so incredibly stupid and blind, that you wouldn't believe that the souls of the wicked punished immediately after death and sent to torment *even if they had both the Old Testament and someone to come back from the dead to warn them??? !!!!!* *That's exactly what Adventist's are telling you to do! And, they claim if you believe Christ, then you are of Satan!* DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!!

    For the wages of sin is death; (not hell;) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    {Romans 6:23}
    Turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha *into ashes* condemned them with an overthrow, making them *an ensample* unto those that after should live ungodly;
    {2 Peter 2:6}
    Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are *set forth for an example* suffering the vengeance of *eternal fire*
    {Jude 1:7}
    (Sodom is not still burning, so it is not the fire / punishment that is eternal, but rather the consequences thereof.)
    And ye [the saints] shall tread down the wicked; for *they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet* in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
    {Malachi 4:3}
    Thou [satan] hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and *I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth* in the sight of all them that behold thee.
    All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
    {Ezekiel 28:18-19}
    Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such *the second death* hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
    {Revelation 20:6}
    And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. *This is the second death*
    And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
    {Revelation 20:14-15}
    What do you imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
    {Nahum 1:9}

    Did Eve usurp Adams authority in the Garden of Eden?

    • @br.m
      @br.m 11 месяцев назад

      It could seem like it, because she got Adam to follow her lead. The bigger problem is she tried to usurp God's authority. Adam seemed pulled in to it much like Miriam leading a mutiny against Moses that Aaron got pulled in to. This is probably why women hate the Bible and fought to be ordained, so they can try to ruin it from within. Even Mary mother of Jesus tried to usurp our Lord. Definitely a reoccurring theme in the Bible.

      Christ wasn't talking about the state of the dead when addressing the pharisees. He was trying to relate to them in their own twisted understanding of what happens after death. To say He was speaking in the literal sense would mean that if someone was experiencing eternal torment they can actually see someone in glory and actually communicate with them. If a person was actually burning in hell how could he or she even reason? After all when you were burning in fire and brimstone could you possibly think of anything else over the excruciating pain? He was teaching with parables about justification by works and not what happens after death.

      The early church used ot scriptures to test doctrine
      These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

    Does the bible teach that the lost God will punish with eternal torment? Would a loving God supernaturally keep you alive for eternity so you could writhe in agony as you burned alive? Sadly this is exactly what many churches falsely teach.
