However, I simply want you to be careful of your views about defending interpretations of the Bible. The Bible was first a spiritual revelation before it was related with early analogy for our comprehension. Even the Lord Jesus said parables that are heavenly related with an earthly analogy which may not have taken place earthly but He simplified the message for our earthly understanding. I think there's a misconception about what Abel Damina is pointing to here; he wants you to see God beyond our worldview of heaven. Note: Heaven has a plural form; it's a place of peace, freedom, and immortality. He's simply said God cannot be fantom; God existed before existence. The teaching was also beyond his comprehension but he had to teach it. For me, nothing is wrong with the teaching. He was exalting God beyond our common sense and not challenging or faulting the Holy Bible.

While logic is good way for the analysis and interpretation of the Bible, this short clip from Pastor Damina is an example of very poor logic and I am surprised that congregants at House on the Rock fell for it. It shows the superficiality of the average Pentecostal Christian. "For I am the LORD, I change not…" - Malachi 3:6. This speaks to God’s reliability, His steadfastness and His immutability. The way Pastor Damina has applied this verse would suggest that Jesus was not born of a virgin and did not walk the earth as a man. This is because being born of a woman and walking the earth as a man suggests some kind of change. Also, that would mean that Jesus did not die. This is because God has no beginning and no end, He cannot be killed. Death, even if temporary, would suggest a kind of change. Essentially, Damina’s line of reasoning would mean Jesus is not Lord and He is not divine. Because while Jesus walked the earth, He was tired, He was hungry and He even slept on the boat. All these suggest CHANGES that are not Godlike. I love Pastor Damina but his fallacious reasoning should be constantly challenged to prevent damaging errors.

What most of us know and believe are dogmas and surface level interpretations of the Bible.
