Abraham who gave tithe to Melchizedek ,did it in honour to him.After that encounter, it is not on record that Abraham ever paid tithe again.Moreover, that tithe was given from the booty of war and not from his income.That tithe that Ahraham gave ,covers for all his spiritual children much as he paid it for Levi in his loins. For these Pastors who lay emphasis on the tithe, they now overshadow the preaching of the kingdom of God and Jesus Christ , with it for their personal gain.Now that they encourage tithing according to the old testament, do they distribute it as recommended in that old testament?
