Guys, I have owned this instrument for about 3 years and I don’t have ANY of the issues you discuss here. Mine sits in my living room on carpet. It does not shake. I have no issues with keys sticking. It sounds fantastic. Mine was set up by music professionals when delivered . I do agree regarding no real instruction book. But otherwise I love it and am enjoying playing.
I own this piano. As a classical pianist of ~20 years, let me say it is not a well-made piano. It looks good, but the action is terrible. The sound is tinny. Check out that bit at 1:44 where you see the whole thing shaking just playing lightly. The ~100 lb weight is supported by 3 flimsy compressed-wood legs, and the pedal lyre is loose too. I would suggest at this price point to go with a upright-style Roland or Kawai.
I agree. I am having a hard time adjusting to this piano The look is nice but quality of the sound should improve.
I own this piano and is nothing else than trouble. It does indeed shake a lot and the super heavy body feels like it could fall on my feet any time I touch it. But that is not the worse. The worse is that I had to replace the motherboard already twice because the piano voice gets corrupted after a while and hitting one key produce a sequence of different notes by a variety of voices... and do not expect much support from Suzuki.
so great it had to be put in a mostly empty room with hard floors to get the tone to sound good.
It is a nice piano in its cost category. It is nicely shaped, has many functions and the sound is decent. Unfortunately it is NOT durable. My middle D key just sunk down (not stuck, but just sank) one day and when I inquired how much it would cost to have it fixed I was told that it would cost $500-1000 to fix just that. For something that costs in the thousands, they should last longer than 5 years.
Thanks for sharing this!!! I was going to buy this. After reading your comment, I'll find something different.
I just financed one. So beautiful! 😍😭
how is it after 2 years ?
Nice concept. I wish it sticks to just piano and strings and volume control. Remove the front buttons and put the limited buttons I mentioned on the side so it looks more like a true grand piano.
agree 200%
I just got this. I really does sound more like a keyboard but this is a really nice keyboard. Or at compared to any I’ve ever had
Would you say a yamaha clavinova clp 625 is better?
Someone is selling it for 800 on craigslist. Is that a good deal. I miss playing!!
The video briefly mentions Bluetooth connectivity, but I found no reference to it in the manual I found online. Best pianos for playing with a training app support Bluetooth MIDI and Audio. You can get a much better sounding, playing, and more solid Roland with Bluetooth for this price. Keyboards on Roland pianos are amazingly similar to a real piano.
I love my MGD-400. But I can't find a user guide anywhere. It didn't come with much instruction and it was written in very poor and hard to understand English. Is there an instruction manual somewhere that I can download?
I have one of these suzuki mdg 300 baby grand piano and I need to know where I can get service for it. I recently moved houses and when I tried to play the piano, there was no sound, although the demo plays.
I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
I have the mdg 330 and it makes a buzzing sound through the speakers and jack. is there a fix for this?
i dont got sound coming from my piano
MIDI out? Or USB connectivity to computer or other music production tool? Can it work as a controller?
could a rep please send me a manual to this piano? I have the piano and I am attempting to connect it to the mac and would really appreciate some guidance! Thanks!
hi could someone reach out to provide help connecting my micro grand piano to my mac? I would really appreciate it! I am unable to find any documentation on how to connect- Thank you so much!!
The piano is connecting to a bluetooth we dont know which one and is playing radio. How do i disconnect the bluetooth and prevent from connecting?
I have the mdg 330. It has a mic port, but I can’t make any microphone work with this piano. Anybody know of settings or other things that need to be utilized for use with a microphone?
How do reset my MDG-400 Suzuki digital piano? please can you help me

Your website is broken bruh.
What’s the difference between this and the MDG-400?
No one answer after 3 years 😂😂😂😂😂😂
What is the width?
of deez nutz
Is that a way to understand the age of an acoustic suzuki piano ?
The serial number is : F101597
What would u say are the main differences among the whole models MDG 300-330-400 and 4000ts? Gracias
Dude, you sold it.
Don't buy it. I've got the HG-425e and It's a piece of crap. After a few years the keys start sticking and it cost $500 to repair. Suzuki sucks
I was going to . Thanks for the info. I’m going with Yamaha
😯👏👏
Edited: So I don’t need a guitar when I can get this piano, I wanted to learn how to play a piano first so.
Suzuki MDG-330 Mini Grand Digital Piano w/ Bench, Black Hi Gloss.
This piano does not have a real piano sound. More like a keyboard.
I agree. I think it sounds awful!
Think I will stick to my REAL PIANO!
Pancho Banman it is a keyboard
Pancho Banman I think the room he is playing it in makes it bad.
@Maafa 1619 key word "digital"
Did you notice that every time he plays the Piano it wiggles... What??? that seems so cheap. I rather buy Casio Digital piano than this thing. Casio have better Key Mechanism and Sounds, and the best of all they look and feel Luxurious. And I better buy a Digital piano on a reputable brand.
Casio? You have no idea what you're talking about. Sit back down and think about the statement u make. Do some research before you talk stupid
@@saeyoonyoon9837 yesyes
😂
Saeyoon yoon what’s wrong with Casio
Nope still sounds pretty digital
They're all pieces of crap and when it breaks down within 5 years, they won't have any parts to repair it so it will be firewood. Thats exactly what happened to me
Yep, same thing happened with me. My 330 broke around the same time as yours. It turns on but no sound is playing
....sounds really cheap and not authentic! No conrast to Yamaha's AvantGrand or Kawai's NV 10.
Isn't that Kawai one like $14,000? I think the price points don't quite compare as the Suzuki MDG-300 is about $1,500 -$2,000.
@@FatGooseArts Ok, but it even can't handle with Yamaha's Clavinova Sound.
Bad sound, unfortunately..
Why did it around so horrible?
The sound is horrible
Sounds amazing? Lol
This doesn’t sound good.
Sorry, but that is the most horrible pipe organ sounds I have ever heard. In fact, it's got to be the worst sound I have ever heard from any instrument. No thanks. Definitely going with the Williams Symphony Concert.
Awful tin-can sound.
Very bad sound
