- It's been such an amazing first week in our new home! Definitely a little bit crazy, but so wonderful to have a place to call our own after 2 years of jumping around while we finished building / renovating the house! Every day we are finding new things we love about it and we are so excited to get to share with you all!

Enjoyable to see you settling into the new house after that long time in the RV. Good even to see the good healthy meals you prepare and eat! It was a pity about the freezer though!

I would go with the over sized rug. Place part under bed. I think a quilt would look better than the chunky throw. The bed is amazing! Love the shades and green wall. You are doing an amazing job decorating, Amanda! ❤

Beautiful home for a beautiful family. Its takes months to settle ina new home , take it easy and enjoy the process. Love the bed get a nice fluffy white rug to match the headboard on the bed I think you call it a base board. Great vlog xx
You are not complaining, I agree frustrating when new things break, especially the appliances. So nice to have an extra fridge to use. Our fridge broke a few days before Christmas one year and we could not get one delivered for a couple of weeks so had to use the one in the garage. Not fun! House looks amazing, so happy for you all.

Hu are the best chocolates. So cute Lincoln licking his bowl to the last drop and laughing at drill sounds. Normal home life with lots of room and more great places for wonderful furnishings.
So sorry about the problem with your New Refrigerator. We had three refrigerators in about four years due to changes made by Government, and the new refrigerators not working due to changes in the internal parts to meet new Government standards and crappy freon. The last refrigerator finally worked and was a GE. That was over a decade and a half ago but definitely frustrating.
Everyone needs a good working refrigerator.

Love your family. You have a large family but they are all so full of affection for each other. Protective of each other. Now that is something to be proud of because nothing like that is ever easy. It says a lot about the parents and God. I adore sweet little Linky with the beautiful smile. And sweet Angus who loves everyone.

Yes theres alot to do moving house but u can do it in your own time. Theres alot more space for everyone. Love the knife kit all in its own little pouches. Stevens dresding sauce look so delicious. Lincoln loves going round giving hugs. Hes so cute. I love the open concept w the kitchen n living,dining room. Very smart cooker with the down draft. Yr house is really nice. 1:36

I think the boys don't still fully realize they are going on heritage trip. First they are camping and then will hear Reese's travel impressions.

Love penelopes bedroom. Love your new bed frame. The boys bathroom is really super nice. Love the shower curtain. Beautiful home. It takes years to decorate a home to your standards. The only thing i can advise, is dont settle for decor you wont like in a year or two. So, you may have to wait for certain things and thats ok. So happy for all of you❤❤❤

So happy for you all that you are now in your home! Lincoln’s laugh is contagious and beautiful! As for a rug for your bedroom, I would suggest a 10’x14’ or 12’16’ wool rug under the bed, just in front of the nightstands and about 3-4’ in front of the foot of the bed and 3-4’ on either side of the bed, your bedroom needs a substantial size rug, it should be under the bed to ground that area and there is nothing better than your feet landing on softness all year round.

Hope that Stephen and the boys are having a good trip. Love seeing the house come together with the desks, beds. Sorry about the refidgerator. Hope that is a quick fix. I liked the roman shades and natural curtains together. As far as a rug goes maybe a light green or a pale brown color. For the duvet or if you want to use a quilt maybe a brown and tan combined would be lovely.
