I have a 4s 16.8v 40A bms and 4s 3 pole batteries, can i charge it with a constant 19v charger? Pls reply its urgent.
Do I need to connect (weld, solder) batteries to the BMS board in sequence (from plus to minus or vice versa) how is it in the laptop battery so that the board does not go into protection?
amigo es bms no tienes que quitarle unas resistencias para utilizarlas en las diferentes combinaciones???
pouch cells 3.7v nominal 3S Li-ion using 3s li-ion BMS vs 3.2v 4s LiFePO4 using 4S LiFePO4 BMS vs 4S Li-ion using 4S LiFePO4 BMS, will the 4S Li-ion using LiFePO4 BMS better for 12V application? By that it does not stress the cell and can get more cycles, right?
Say I wanted 4s pack buy two of them in parallel. Would this charger still work?
Heya I loved the video man 👍 I have a question regarding my 4s BMS, I just installed one for my 4s 4p battery and I got 16.40 volts out of the BMS which is good but whenever I plug my battery to a load the battery immediately drops to 11.16 volts and but it drops to 4.8 volts when I start using the load with the battery. Can you tell me what's causing this? The BMS and battery cells are brand new.
Osm video 😍 But how long to charge 4 cells ?
And thank you for information.
My cell 2000mah each and pcb has 20a and I use 4 cell so what is my total mah after making battery pls reply me
if we have a 3s System, can we charge it with a regular 12V Adapter? or do we need to step the 12V up to 12.6V?
Yes, the voltage to charge 3s pack is 12,6-13,6. You can use a Im 317 to have that voltage
@@nikumoraru8011 cool
is this for charging only?
Very good video 👍
No! Bad video.
Single cell overcharge protect voltage 4.23-4.28v is damaging to a cell that's supposed to be 4.20 max
He don't know :)
There is not indicator on BMS to indicate when the battery pack is fully charged :((((
gigil ka sa pang hinang mo ah 😁 but anyways thanks for this video bro.
Charger? Are you sure? Where is charger IC? Where is balance circuit?

I wouldn't go near this method, for Li-Ion battery charging. You require a constant voltage/constant current converter (at least), for safely charging lithium ion batteries. Then, if there is no automatic shutoff, at around 100mA, you need to manually monitor the charging process. ALL battery manufacturers state this, in their datasheets, due to the battery chemistry. Failure to do this can lead to the possibility, of overcharging, which can cause overheating, of the batteries chemistry: WORST CASE SCENARIO, RESULTS IN FIRE!!
Simply put: STAY AWAY FROM THIS METHOD! A Li-Ion battery, in a low state of charge will first charge, in constant voltage, up until it reaches 4.20VDC; then, it will switch to constant current (meaning, the voltage does NOT increase further), & wind down the charging, of the batteries capacity, until it reaches approx. 100mA, when the charger should shut down. This final, shutoff number can also change, depending on battery.
I'm sick of poor, if not dangerous videos being posted online!!!! 😠🤬 That's why I've gone to the effort of posting this warning!
